I'm using the aosp/pixel gesture nav. Took a bit to get used to and I rarely have weird glitches (like using the fast swipe to previous app, but the app manager is yeeting to the last app or so; the nav bar/pill being visible in a video; the pill being on the wrong side of the display after having it rotated), but I like the look and feel. Also I'm still hoping that we will get to the point where it's "embedded" like in iOS.
Things like C&C.
If you know current ones, let me know. I didn't really research anymore. Most of what I've seen in the past had some random new spin on it.
I'm not fully sure, as I've only read this somewhere, but it seems like other release channels are also somewhat delayed. I think I'm on beta even and somehow didn't get the update automatically (macOS btw)
I think this is normal with a smaller community. Also we are the ones that care more about a healthy community. The bigger a community gets, the more dickheads will exist in it.
THIS.
I remember, when I started watching GoT, it was a shitshow to actually get the content in ANY way, not even speaking about getting access legally. This changed with time, but the show often was exclusive to Sky, which is one of the most garbage paid tv services I know of. I can buy it, but I REALLY don't want to support Sky for their bad service. There really should be no exclusivity to those things.
Let's see where this goes. Most communities I switched over from Reddit to Lemmy are quite small at the moment, but with nice apps I imagine it will only grow.
