  • Where are we talking about installing malware? This could be implemented by the os itself, like many other similar things in the last years as well (password storage, covid nearby activity, ...). The os could just ask the user to verify his age by identity card or similar, would then store a flag after verification and a browser -> website can access this.

    The only problem I see with this, if there is no verification on the other side, you could "just" have a browser which tells the website that the user is adult, no matter what, or, if it's more dedicated, could even use a modified version of Linux to always have the flag set, haha.

  • In WhatsApp, you can create "Communities" these days. In a community you can create multiple Chats/Groups with their own topic. So when you have a big community and different topics to talk about, you can create a chat for each topic so that you don't have one spammy chat. That way all chats belonging to that community also are visible to all people which are in at least one of the communities' chats.

  • Well you're somewhat correct about Chat history, but just that just comes with better security measures.. Otherwise the only thing I dislike, that you can't drag and drop files onto the contact list on the left, but only to the selected chat.

  • Yes, true. I also did setup so that any missing semicolon will be added, because I got sick of not inserting them sometimes and then some code was without them and some was. (Before I tested just leaving them all out, out of fun, so I got into the habit of just leaving them out regularly)

  • I'm somewhat with you on this, but most software that's updating its pricing or is new, is using a subscription model. 2$ really is fine I think, even less with the yearly thing. I'd still like to see a OTP
