Japanese Lolita fashion is pretty distanced from from Nabokov's original conception. If this person is just dressing in that fashion, and put the sign in reference to that, I could almost understand it, and concede there might not have been anything predatory in nature intended.

But if you're a Westerner, you should be pretty damn aware of how people might interpret it on a bus meant to transport children. Like how dumb can you be?

I feel like this is absolutely not fine. I know the facade would help protect the interior, but if any shear force is applied to the core, that thing is less stable than a fifty-move jenga tower.

If the facade were to rot, let's say, and someone were to lean against it, they might end up having the whole thing collapse on them.

I don't work in construction, but I don't think there's any way that meets modern building codes. If a contractor left something like that for me, I'd be getting it inspected for sure.

Just spitballing here, but I kinda wonder if modern tech isn't worsening children's impulse control. Having constant instant gratification surely has some negative effects on it.

Anecdotal evidence here, but my friends who are parents cut way back on how much tech time their kids got, and they said there was a huge improvement in their general behaviour.

That's a little disingenuous framing. The salmonella usually gets on the plants from contaminated water, and the water gets contaminated by waste runoff from sick animals.

You can simply subtract 9 or add 3 to the month number. If you want to verify, break out your hands and get counting months. Start with no fingers raised for November, then raise a finger every month you count, and see where you get to when you have 9.

A duration is going to include the starting and ending months. Do a very simple example: January (1) to February (2) is one month (2 - 1 = 1).

If you feel silly for messing this up, don't. Off by one errors are incredibly common. I always count them out just to double check em myself.
