  • I really enjoy D&D-based video games, but actual pen and paper is just frustratingly slow. I think if I could change my mindset to consider it a social activity first and a game second, I might find it more enjoyable. But that is also really dependent on the group dynamic and seems more likely attainable for playing in-person rather than with an online group.

  • What, exactly, should I be proud of?

A nation that is moving backwards on human rights, increasing wealth inequality, and got really “mask off” about supporting genocide. A nation that is inherently dysfunctional and wreathed in corruption.

  • I'm not taking moral guidance from a genocide apologist. It just isn't going to happen. He has destroyed his credibility.

Only people can be the victims of bigotry and racism, not nation-states. To use another example, it is not Sinophobia to criticize the actions of the Chinese government.

  • As someone in another post commented: Streisand effect. I never heard of these guys until now.

The genocide apologists are going to have a lot of egg on their face. They just keep digging themselves a deeper and deeper hole. History is written by the victors, but the younger generations have the last word. And history will not be kind.

  • They are engaging in an absolutely ridiculous campaign of gaslighting. It's so outlandish and over-the-top that it would actually be hilarious if it was on a lighter subject matter rather than genocide, terrorism, and a litany of war crimes.
