I don't eat meat, and don't seem to need them for other foods. I do use an IR thermometer though to check the temperature of the pan before putting food on it.
Although I liked the series, the "supernatural" elements in it really threw me off. I would still recommend the series but be clear that it is science fiction and doesn't always adhere to physical limitations as we know them, without getting any more specific than that.
I thought "In Time" was a good movie. I agree that there is a lot that could be done with it, however only so much can be done in a movie. This sort of concept really lends itself to multiple movies or a series (just don't drag it out too long).
Yes, I am aware that cans have a plastic liner. This may have health implications wrt microplastics, but from an environmental perspective it is an absolutely tiny amount compared to bottles and gets burned off during aluminum recycling.
And I encourage the U.S. to immediately cut support and stop providing diplomatic cover to these other groups committing genocide as well. And to stop suppressing Americans' free speech when they speak out against it.
end it with “but Israel has a right to defend itself”
When they can't say anything supportive of Palestine without tacking that at the end, it really undermines any perception that they might actually try to do something. What's the saying? (paraphrased) Whenever you add "but" to a sentence, you invalidate the point of whatever came before it.
The younger generations are turning, and there is absolutely nothing he can do about it. I just hope the shift is quick enough that he gets to see some results from this shift.
If you're purchasing chicken from the grocery store, there's a lot about it that is unnatural. Modern animal ag is very unnatural.
I do not know specifically what would cause cancer, but bioaccumulation of environmental toxins (e.g. pesticides) seems a likely culprit. But this is only speculation on my part.
Drug addicts seem to do it to themselves on accident all the fucking time. If a street junkie can do it, then I'm sure some training (that does not amount to a medical degree) would be enough.
The medical degree isn't about knowing how to knock them out. It's about knowing how to bring them back.
