It would be nice if they could package an annual booster with the flu shot, though I'm not sure of there are interaction issues. I got them both at the same time last year though and just had a mild cramp in my arm which is pretty typical for a flu shot on its own.
Eris fortunately doesn't appear to be more virulent than omicron was, but also doesn't seem to be weaking further as was the trend for the last few varients. It seems mutation with increased transmission over time seems to be the trend.

It's a little scary that this environment (social media) leads so many to believe that, but it's just not reality. At best conservative ideology is at parity with liberal ideology in the US. At worst, it's actually a slight majority and has been on the rise since 2020. I'd rather we avoid Civil War 2.0 at the risk of actually losing this time.

The article only benchmarks the total number to percentage of Americans once then just talks about the total number increasing over time. It would be much more helpful to just see this as a relative percentage to total population as I'd expect that number to rise regardless as population continues to grow. Not disputing the data, but think that would be a better way to analyze it.

If you read the article it sounds a little more complicated than just this being a homicidal asshole or that he was going out guns blazing. A huge no knock raid for something like this should at least give people reading this some pause. This seems to happen a lot more than it should.
Because one of them costs taxpayer money and the other one is just signing legislation? The two concepts aren't even related other than that they are two different ways of getting to places.
