  • I have always wanted to but I have too much to say and have too little time. I was never consistent (I wanted to do daily). Too much of a chore for me unfortunately though I love the idea of being able to look back and reflect.

  • Agreed! This is how i watch too. Last two times I've gone to theatres was for both Dune movies. Otherwise, its just home.

Very true for both audio and sound. There are just films made by specifically for large formats and higher quality set ups.

Its great that you have headphones OP as it's a step. If you still enjoy what you're seeing, that's all that really matters IMO. Not everyone is privileged to have a nice home system set up which is I think why theatres are still a thing.

More information on sounds and subtitles that I watched a few weeks ago. I also watched a video on TV modes and the differences of visual on theatre vs TV vs mobile but can't recall the video.

  • Reading the thread. Most of you guys are not THAT short lol. I actually married my guy who is 5'1". He has a nice smile, funny and smart.

He has told me unfortunately that he has often been declined often by women due to his height. We have asked our mutual friends who said they won't date someone who is that short which is unfortunate because they all love him too.

He's pretty confident, professional, so people from work finally meet him in person, they are surprised he is not taller.

  • Hello there!

I am a manager and I have staff that have different medical conditions. If you are in need of any accommodations at your work, check with HR or your boss for any options of alternative work schedules, protected time off, etc. There should be a department within HR if you have enough medical justification to have granted intermittent days off, shortened work hours (all this is "alternative work schedules or accommodations").

You should have options to ensure your health is a priority and that your time to care for that is protected!!

  • I don't have live TV but went to my in-laws that did one day and they happen to have it on. The number of predatory insurance commercials was insane and people believe these plans are better.

Keep your straight Medicare A and B folks. Don't sign up for Medicare Advantage (Managed Medicare with private insurance managing the benefits.

  • "‘You have not tried all lower levels of care available in your area. You can learn to control your behaviors and stay at home. You can learn coping skills in your home. Your family can support you as you get treatment.’”

100% I believe they sent this to family... If addictions were so easy to manage we wouldn't have all these addiction programs

  • I respectfully disagree after you try other EHRs like Cerner lol

I also haven't heard complaints about Epic with bugs at least in my org. They are pretty user friendly especially when we have some staff that can barely type. The only complaint was documentation. Nursing documentation was tedious with like over 250 options for "adult assessment" but they've slimed it down to like 50 earlier this year for my healthcare system. Lastly, I think things work better the more money hospitals put in the EHR. I was per diem for another healthcare system. It was pretty cool how many other features they had than ours.
