  • More like Fed-erect! ;)

  • That would be fantastic, but it’s really hard for me to have that much faith in corporations. We’ll see though. I was really looking forward to seeing Bethesda make another RPG for PSVR, but I’m sure the odds of that happening now are less than zero thanks to Microsoft.

  • I might be a little more upset if I could remember the last activision blizzard game I felt was worth playing.

  • I might pay for the cloud gaming service just long enough to play starfield then cancel

  • Future Bethesda games are exclusive. They weren’t going to be, but they are now.

  • I trust you know how activity pub works much better than I, but I’m a superstitious fellow when it comes to meta & their endless appetite for data that doesn’t belong to them.

  • I wouldn’t be surprised if every post/link shared from a threads instance has meta analytic tools and trackers built right into them.

  • It’s an older game, but I like to revisit pixel people every once in a while. It’s a mobile game with some mtx that you can ignore. It’s like a city builder where you can mix worker classes together to unlock new types of workers and subsequently new types of buildings to add to your city.

  • Very true. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • “He just kept going and going…”

  • Make them defederate from you. Just galvanize a group of volunteers to mirror everything they post from your own instance, but edit “left” to “right”, “black” to “white”, “Biden” to “trump”, “liberal” to “conservative”, “trans” to “cis”, “gay” to “straight”, and let them decide how “free” they like their speech.

  • It also gives us as teachers the opportunity to teach students how to perform online research responsibly, how to check for sources, and to question their credibility. Left to their own devices, it's really easy to get swept up in rage-bait propaganda. It's extra work for us, but important for society.
