  • Last year I think. The lead singer has started a new project called Q.I.S (Queens in Sweaters) with 3 songs out so far, plus she wrote stuff for halca and performed some with Kana Boon. Miku (the drummer) is doing some DJ sets and playing drums with some other bands. The bassist seems to be taking a break for now and hasn't been up to much.

  • I’m thinking he’s going to propose a marriage between Sei and the second prince

That was exactly my thought. They've done too much to set this up with the episodes this season. The "you're gonna lose her, someone else is going to take her" speeches in previous episodes, all the dudes at the ball hanging around, and of course the prince that she didn't know about before all of a sudden showing up wanting very much to meet her. It all adds up to exactly what you suggested. I'm curious to see how it plays out.

  • Glad to get some more back-story this episode. Things have been a bit mysterious up until now, so at least we have a goal in mind and a plan.

The tight-rope walking thing was edited a bit funny. I couldn't tell if both of the twins were taking turns, or if it was just the same one.

  • I am always a sucker for a good detective story, and this show has definitely been delivering on that end. Kamoo is a really fun character and bounces off everyone around him very well. I think the detective school killing people seems a bit contrived, but the show has enough good will built in that I'm willing to give it a pass.

Excited to see where this one goes.

  • I'm not really sure what to think about this show, or what it's trying to be. The Demon Lord reincarnating and trying to figure out the world, plus the world building are pretty good so far. It seems like maybe his magic and the magic that exists now are not as dissimilar as he thought.

However, there appears to be a pretty decent amount of ecchi, which is unusual in my experience for a show with a good plot. Usually the ecchi is used to sort of spackle over a story that they feel like may not stand on its own, but here that doesn't seem to be an issue. It's just a bunch of shower scenes that don't really add anything. There also a whiff of shotacon that I'm not sure is intentional (or it could be the entire point) Don't get me wrong, I don't really mind that sort of thing at all, was just kind of surprised to see it. Maybe I'm wrong and the plot will fall apart, but I hope not.

  • Still on the fence with this one. I think it has an interesting premise, and I like Shy as a character, but it's turning a bit generic. I don't have much hope for the next episode (with the cliffhanger in this one) but maybe things will change for the better.

  • I really feel bad for this guy. He's just trying to play the game, but he accidentally specced himself into a build that causes him to be used by all the other players. I think ultimately, it's going to work out in his favor, but imagine getting off from a long day at work, logging in to your game for some relax time, and having to work a whole other job or 2. At least he's got a good attitude about it. I'm betting the fairy he gets is going to be super OP

  • This new guy is a total fart, and is really ruining the vibes of the show. I know he's going to be around a while, but I sincerely hope that there is a payoff worth putting up with him. The party is so harmonious and play off each other so well, it's really jarring to have this guy throw a wrench in things.

  • This show has to be the one I look forward to most every week. Such a great balance of cute and horrific artwork and interactions.
Very brutal episode this time with some legit creepy moments.

Also, if anyone is subscribed on the Shonen Jump app, they pulled some chapters of this from the vault for free (11 it looks like) I read the first one over the weekend.

  • This show has a really neat premise. I definitely am enjoying the interactions between Fate and Roxxy, and very much relate to his dense "just happy to be here" attitude towards everything. The fact that he's such a good dude is so counter to the requirements of his skill, I'm hoping it makes for some interesting conundrums over the rest of the season.

  • I'm glad this one has settled down a bit as far as being fanservice-y towards Viola. I kind of appreciated him pointing out "Hey man, she's 16 so keep it chill" and them sticking to it. The aunties and their familiars are plenty as far as that goes.

Fun story today with new "friends" being introduced.

  • I'm enjoying this one slightly more than the other racing show this season (Overtake) I kept expecting something to go wrong with the car, as they kept focusing on him being rough with the tires and over-revving the engine.

Curious as to whether Kanata recognized Angel 7 or not. He gives off a very strong "not good at lying vibe" but that could be a misdirect.

  • I was convinced that the girls would not go along with his overly convoluted plan (even I was like "ok dude, that's a LOT of steps") but was pleasantly surprised. These three have a great dynamic together that's very appealing. I'm worried that adding more and more girls is going to dilute things, but the fact that this is a long running and well loved manga gives me hope that they found a way to make it work.

  • I unfortunately didn't see the thread until after the poll was closed, so I wasn't able to participate. Personally, I like the way the threads are now, although I wish they were a little bit busier. I'm trying to be the change I want to see by commenting on shows that may have 0 comments, and upvoting (what's the proper Lemmy term for that) all the shows I'm watching. I don't watch shows until the evening time, but I really enjoy coming on here the morning after and seeing if anyone else is watching/commenting.

I checked out the other thread, and wasn't really a huge fan of any of the other ideas. The closest one I could get behind was the single post per day for all the shows, which would cut down on the number of threads, but would probably be a barrier to participating in that you'd have to remember what day your show was on and may have to wade through comments on shows you're not watching/get spoiled. Anything other than the way it is now would probably lower participation, in my opinion.

  • I understand the frustrations of being relegated to wing-man driver and occasionally feel like team doesn’t support you unfairly,

I was thinking this exact thing. Like when he was making the suggestion, and then got let down, I was on his side that the team wasn't being fair. However, him snarling at Haru and refusing to follow instructions really shows why he's the wingman driver and not the main event.

  • I really want to like this show, but it's so disjointed and people do things that don't seem to make sense. It's like the show can't tell what it wants to be (idol, shounen, school drama, etc.) and it suffers for it.

  • When I saw the title of this show, I was a bit worried that it'd be one of those super ecchi shows, but have been very pleasantly surprised. Naughtiness in this context is not sex related, but just life's simple pleasures. Sugita and Hayamin are pitch perfect, and Satania/Uzaki Chan cat this episode was really cute. Hope she continues to make appearances.
