  • At this point, no one will be excited to do a one week mission ever again because of the possibility of this happening.

I'm sure theyve got plenty of capable people lined up that are chomping at the bit to do it. People know how risky going to space is, and if this turns into just an extended stay, it's not going to deter the people who have been training to do this.

  • I agree with you. However, at the same time, (assuming) it's a fact and I'm all for repeatedly reminding people how similar he is to Epstein and how close of friends they were. So, with that in mind, I fully endorse the article.

  • This is a hard thing for me to paint as hypocritical.

To explain, you're playing the game with the rules as they are, not as you want or think they should be, and it's stupid to put yourself at a disadvantage because you think the rules should be different; it's entirely possible to use the rules to your advantage but also think the rules should be changed.

  • It's widespread adoption, almost certainly resulting in the unnecessary suffering of millions of people, has been hampered by anti-scienitific fanatics. So let's not confuse that with there being something wrong with golden rice or it not existing.

But if that isn't enough, we have fast growing salmon, non browning apples, and pink pineapple which are all gmos on the market that don't have to do with pesticides or pest resistance. If we include ones that are simply resistant to viruses, then the list grows substantially more.

  • Then why not say that rather than the patently false claim that it's only for pesticides? You also express some more misconceptions: seeds, regardless of how they are made are patented, are rarely reused farmers pretty much always buy new seeds. This is not an issue limited to gmos. Parents are not just for GMO plants. Again, a separate issue.

You're issue seems to be with capitalism, not GMO a tool used by capitalists to make more money.

  • You're problem is with pesticides, not GMO. Youve just been convinced by the people trying to amalgamate GMO and pesticides. You know who stands to make a lot of profit from that? The corporations pushing organics into a fast growing 70 billion dollar industry.

  • I was the opposite. I started playing wow not realizing there were different servers and just joined the one my buddy was on...when I got to the pvp point I realized that I couldn't attack the horde players and was like "wtf is this shit?" And rerolled onto a pvp server. Lol

  • Also humans are much more interesting due to the variability of styles. Like bots tend to become predictable, as would be the case if you played the same humans every time...but having different humans makes the competition much more entertaining.

  • When I was 17 I got drunk at a concert and met and eventually hooked up with some girl who went to a rival high school of ours.

The next day I didn't even really remember her name and thought nothing of it because not much happened (just making out and mutual groping, we were at a concert).

A few weeks later another friend comes up to me and is like "wait, you're dating Mary from [rival school]" and I'm like "who the hell is that?"

"She's been telling everyone in her school that's she's dating you."

I was the boyfriend in another school that you wouldn't know. Problem is that the cousin of one of her friends was my friend and did know me.
