What a silly article. California building code already requires the design features mentioned in the article; i.e. the hardscape, window design, etc -- so just about any house is getting built this way. The only thing somewhat unique is the metal fence.

The easiest and cheapest way for large corporations to deal with the issue is by giving Trump kick-backs, in exchange for special tariff exemptions. This is why tariffs are a gold-mine for corrupt practices.

Zoning impacts the cost of housing. In my city, an average house costs millions of dollars -- because the zoning does not allow apartments to be built.

I'm sorry, but if Democrats were really interested in reducing housing costs they would be working on zoning reform. Trump has no control over local zoning, and the really HCOL places are all in "blue" cities.
