But like, 3.5 to usbc is a 10 buck conversion. Tbh i see merit in double usb c over usbc and headphone jack, might be more doable too, the DAC prolly takes more space than an additional usbc
Fair enough on the multi users front, didn’t consider that.
That said, this does look like a great QoL for surgery, theres people with personal portable ultrasound probes in the same price bracket (a much more questionable choice tbh, bringing in personal diagnostic equipment is asking for trouble), can totally see a surgeon buying this for personal use.
Fair enough, very valid points, especially since this is unlikely to be (completely) a rebranded generic aliexpress phone. And to be fair some digital audio players cost an insane buck (see FiiO M series), so if this is kind of a middle ground, the price could be steep.
And to be fair they did put out an astronomically proced keyboard with a dac inside that had PCB drift issues.
Trackers can do so much more than just take time for running. Cadance, ground contact time, recovery, suggestions. My garmin watch has upped my training game considerably. Its a bit like having an online personal trainer.
I legitimately want to understand how this information is propagating and why. Your explanation seems correct, but given the above link, there may be more to this problem. Honestly, I am just confused now.
Its the previous thing of it, potentially, being true somewhere and then also just it sounds like it could be true. TikTok is full of stuff like this, that sounds true enough and is presented from somewhat of an authority angle, with confidence. Too often I get someone to send me a tiktok of some medical fact like: “is this true?”. And 9/10 it is not.
If no one is willing to work for $4/hour for spending money, then no one will. The business needs to adapt or die, not the citizen needing to cope or die.
I mean… yea? They need to adapt their wages… to be more competitive and attract employees who now don’t need to work to survive…
That doesn't make any sense. Why would a job have to pay you more when your basic necessities are covered? It's literally extra fucking around money. It's life stylemoney, not living money.
Because employees can choose not to work for shit money, they can take time to find something more chill or spend time to elevate their qualifications.
Imagine all your essenital expenses are paid. Are you going to not do any work, or are you going to go do a job so you can afford a better lifestyle?
Again, a supermarket would have to pay a decent chunk over minimum wage for me to consider every going there for leisure/lifestyle money.
I dont think that follows. If I had UBI, a supermarket would have to pay a lot more than it did when I worked there during uni. I only worked there because it was the thing that was available to keep a roof over my head and food on the table. It was miserable especially for the pay. No way in hell id do it for less if those needs were covered.
In my mind UBI actually would have to make wages more competitive to attract people who want to earn extra but aren’t forced into shitty jobs.
Its worth mentioning that certain mainstream interpretations are also concretely deterministic. For example many worlds is actually a deterministic interpretation, the multiverse is deterministic, your particular branch simply appears probabilistic. Much more deterministic is Bohmian mechanics. Copenhagen interpretation, however, maintains randomness.
Its not that odd if you think about it. Everything else in this universe is deterministic. Well, quantum mechanics, as we observe it, is probabilistic, but still governed by rules and calculable, thus predictable (I also believe it is, in some sense, deterministic). For there to be free will, we need some form of “special sauce”, yet to be uncovered, that would grant us the freedom and agency to act outside of these laws.
Oh yes, compelling analysis of the court case, hope you publish soon.
