I'll buy another Ubisoft game when they get rid of microtransactions, pre orders of multiple different collector's editions and all the other anti-consumer monetization schemes. So, right after hell has frozen over.

IG Metall is one of the largest unions we have. They have deep pockets. Also, in Germany the losing party automatically pays court fees and their opponent's lawyers afterwards.

I would worry more about those workers who aren't union members. It's possible they'll still help them out of principle, but they don't have to.

I had the no audio issue once. It "fixed" itself after I shut down my deck, connected it via a different dock I have lying around from my switch, rebooted and switched over to the original dock again.

Don't ask me why, I guess somewhere something "remembered" a wrong audio setting or something and was forced to reset with the other dock.

Or it might be I had a cable not properly set and got it right when plugging back in.

I also frequently have an issue where I get no signal at all to the TV when waking up the deck, and that's usually only fixed by rebooting the deck. Which I have to do blind or unplug it, because the deck knows it's in TV mode, the TV just apparently doesn't.

Also, yeah, I pretty much only play 2D / pixel art games docked. It's not powerful enough to output a good looking picture to a big TV screen.

What baby? In game purchases? That's not a baby, that's a big shit somebody took in your tub. If transparency is too hard to implement, publishers should feel free to get rid of them altogether.

You're living in just about the only country in the world where it's absolutely 1000% certain that no outside help is ever going to come.

Mine used to say "can you make the picture on my screen go away?". The "picture" was always a pop up with very clearly written instructions or questions like "would you like to save before closing?".

So they actually, provably, lost the ability to recognize writing.

That reminds me, a customer at a place I was working front desk for once managed to shove their money into a small gap between the cash slot and the outer case of a vending machine. I'm talking paper money and it was completely gone, so they really had to work to achieve this. Of course they got mad at me for being unable to open the case or get a technician to do it on a Sunday morning.
