My sense of direction is usually pretty good. If I'm distracted I'll get turned around fairly easily but it's not hard for me to figure out where I accidentally went.
Those are all good points though I disagree a bit with the brown coats/confederates but I get what you mean.
I think I'll let that show sit in my memory as it is. Without rewatching any of it I can definitely see the issues. Especially Jayne thinking more on it
To add on for anyone who is lazy like me, the thing where Google summarizes says California has classified bees as fish under an environmental protection act. According to the first result (Reddit) it's because fish is a catch all term in that law. Instead of listing all the animals they just use fish. Because fish, bees, and the other animals are all invertebrates.
Now whoever reads this has three Lemmy comments, a reddit thread reference, and an ai overview reference as some solid sources
I thought the show was explicit in that reason for rimmer coming back.
Are the books worth a read? I get kind of sad watching red dwarf now because my life has changed a lot since I discovered the show. But the show is excellent and wish I knew people in real space who could appreciate it.
I really enjoyed that series (don't remember which book I stopped on). I think the slowness of it gave a sense of finding a home along with the main character.
They're amazing pets if you have the time/energy. I recently went into an apartment whose owner had three pet ferrets. Cute little guys but he did not clean them well enough.
I'd love to get them again but I wouldn't be able to spend the time for play/exercise.
I know a lot of terrible things are going on but it's stuff like this that also eats at my brain. It's so incredibly stupid, pointless and is petty the right word?
