Or, you know, this person could have just read the fucking article (or even just skimmed the first quarter of it) before making a comment making it clear they didn't, then getting their back up when they get called out?

This take that is basically saying men are just animals that can't control their urges, brought to you by a person who 100% replies to any statement about men being shitty with "nOT AlL mEn".

So what you're advocating is figuratively sucking the candidates dick no matter what terrible thing he does (aka blind worship), like republicans do?

Until people like you confront the fact that we have ALL been conditioned to accept this farce, and that those on both teams serve the same people (billionaires) and use the same tactics (empty promises, flat out lies, gaslighting, manipulating, even love bombing) they just appeal to different sensibilities so your bias tells you the one that appeals to you isn't that bad actually, we will never break free from this circus.

Biden is reacting to all of this in exactly the same way anyone else in his shoes would.

He's starting to react exactly the same way trump and many others on the right do, and is gaslighting his voters the same way, too (like by dismissing the perfectly valid concerns as "drama")..

That is to say it may very well be down to age, but it's also just the textbook behaviour of politicians who are there to serve themselves, the filthy rich establishment, and the status quo they all need to survive.

Though even if you had mentioned the timeline, the quote I pasted from the top of the article is pretty clear about that.

But no, you were clearly "misunderstanding" why it matters if she's in male-prison solitary or female-prison solitary, while deliberately ignoring the key fact that she shouldn't be in solitary in the first place. Or you simply just didn't read the article.

Either way, putting your hand up to say "my bad" isn't hard to do, and it makes you look a lot less like you're here in bad faith than doubling down like you are now does.

Let me let you in on a little secret, because the title implies otherwise - wildlife protection was never a priority, and will never become one, to any company under capitalism, but especially to a company like that.

As was the case here in the UK, it's all they need to manufacture consent to maintain the status quo at best. In reality, the descent towards fascism continues no matter who is elected, and it will continue to do so as long as we play by the rules those in power have set out for us.

Because the other option is to support Trump

Being given that illusion, doesn't mean that's actually the case. There are other options, they just involve more than bare minimum action, including the discomfort of confronting and unlearning the indoctrination we've been put through from birth, and facing up to the fact that the system is rigged by design and is working as intended, and that no matter which of the teams you pick, neither is there to serve you or society, but the owning class, and themselves, and that only playing by the rules they have set out will never result in that changing.

That sucks. I had an issue at first with it only giving the option for android even though I'm on pc, but eventually I managed to get it right, I think there was another sub menu or something, I can't remember exactly since it was a few months ago now.. If that's not it, I guess give some of the other options given here a try?

I'm really glad you've found the information helpful, this kind of consideration and inclusion can only make a community stronger.

Just one more point I think I should have included: not all disabilities are visible - from autism to PoTS to chronic pain to mental illness, some people might look perfectly abled but actually face many barriers and challenges, so remember to include them too (and again, not that you would, but in general - don't doubt or question someone's disability, like questioning why someone who doesn't "look disabled" parks in a disabled bay or uses the disabled toilets or can't stand in a queue but needs to sit even if they look young and fit. Not being visible doesn't mean whatever it is isn't having a massive impact).
