Not just the exercise but learning about exercise physiology, calculating macros, protein quality, eating windows, getting adequate sleep to sustain muscle growth, fat loss and testosterone levels... etc.

I'm my own hobby now.

Edit: Not a racial thing. Im Australia they became popular with people who really arent tough but want people to think they are... white guys who think because they smoke weed that they are essentially Pablo Escobar. Guys who have a motorbike licence and a 500cc commuter bike but 9 Sons of Anarchy hoodies. Guys who have a "Only god can judge me" tattoo but also some minor convictions from a local court magistrate who it turns out can judge them.

Im a huge advocate for fitness and diet for people who are having trouble with mental health. Because it gives you something you can nerd out on, control, research and if it sticks its a huge net positive for your life.

Figuring out your macros, setting yourself a step goal, designing a functional diet, doing some basic weight training even with just bodyweight exercises.

It also has the advantage of quite often leaving you tired at the end of the day. I can recommend some resources if you like.

Talk to your employer about taking on the role on a "fixed term" basis of say 6 months. Tell them honestly why and see what they say. If you're concerned about the lack in money see if you can take the 9 to 5 and supplement with the odd Sunday shift back on the floor to prop the wages up if that suits you.

The gourmet stuff just seems to be missing the whole point for me, not saying its bad Ive had some that were really good but they just seem to be missing the point. Its never going to be good for me nutritionally speaking, its not going to be served at a michellin star restaraunt. It's Macaroni and Cheese. It's like corn chips, I'm not saying that the gourmet Deli ones are bad, but they arent Doritos. That orange powder is delicious because it's fake and engineered. I wouldnt make Nachos with Doritos but if your after that "Cheez" its whats right.

I maintain that Mac and Cheese is one of those foods that weirdly gets better the worse and more fake it is.

Ive had some gourmet shit and I always think "I miss the old Kraft one with the tinned cheese."

There was a version where the cheese came in a can and it was fucking glorious, then they discontinued it and now its a powder and its fucking terrible.

Now I'm not American but I did read something about this before but I'm quoting from memory... huge grains of salt to be taken with this.

Essentially I believe you can report it as "other income" not specify a source and refuse to elaborate if questioned or plead the 5th if it goes more serious. So in a way you are protected. Im pretty sure Whitey Bulger used to pay 30% more than a winning lottery ticket was worth to people so he could cash the ticket and justify his wealth.

I cant imagine the FBI are trawling tax returns, but if you hit their radar for some reason it will probably flag you as someone to be looked at. Just remember, tax evasion is how they got Al Capone but money laundering is also a crime so which one would you rather fuck with?

They know that jail and courts and so on are part of the risk, all criminals do.

Its not like they can fly the flag about the horrible shit they do FOR us that they get away with. I am a pretty firm believer in the "sausage factory" analogy.

I just wish these predatory bastards had to exist with more than just a little bit of fear in their lives that maybe, if they steal one too many grandmas life savings one day someones going to walk up behind them and show their brains the light of day.
