  • Good point about Putin and the kompromat, however to assume it's Trump designing these plans is a bad move.

Trump didn't design Project 2025, but he's followed much of it regardless. Trump is a salesman.

Peter Thiel, Marc Andreesen, Sam Altman, lots of billionaires are invested in libertarian projects, cities, or fifedoms. Lots of them also fund, follow, or push the ideas of Curtis Yarvin about destroying democracy.

So you're right, it might not be Putin.

That said Trump is a Narcissist, and narcissists do tend to care about how they're perceived... Plus there are people like Victoria Spartz who are now in the Senate, but whom have ties to Russian interests.

... it's not always about the kompromat, it's often just about how many ties around the individual (who have influence on their actions) also have interests in the direction pushed.

  • No, and in fact the industry is going to see a reduction as people and companies are realising it's not a silver bullet solution or even that great at what it does.

The next branch of LLM modeling (now AGI is failing), is likely towards specialisation. Specialised AI problem solving has far more potential than chasing an ill defined and half formed concept of "intelligence".

No term can exist on its own like that. Everything is relative.

  • Steve Bannon keeps reinforcing the message "If Trump doesn't win in 2028, they're gonna lock him up!" as a way to manipulate both Trump and his supporters supporting the complete break from the law.

America is like hungry right now, but by 2028 it will be like China, and there'll be no hope for the previous era of American legalism.

  • It's the not knowing who will be disappeared or punished next that brings the terror and silences dissent. Random cruelty is the point, it's used as a proof of total authority, and immunity from justice.

In fascism reason is dissolved and easily replaced with whatever dictates are desired by those in power.

  • Someone needs to convince dear leader that that the enemies are in his own house!

“What’s happening, it seems to me, is they’re being fed propaganda by the far left, and they believe it. It’s really unfortunate,” Musk continued, claiming that the “real problem” isn’t the “crazy guy” who attacks his vehicles but rather the people that push the “propaganda” that encourages him to do it.

Four top officers at the company have unloaded more than $100 million in stock since last month, reported ABC News. They include James Murdoch, the estranged son of right-wing media magnate Rupert Murdoch, and Elon Musk’s brother Kimbal Musk, who shed $27 million, according to a Security and Exchange Control filing.

Go after them Elon! They must be the problem - they're the only ones with the money!

“Those are the real villains here, and we’re going to go after them,” the DOGE chief warned. “The president has made it clear, we’re going to go after them.”

“The ones providing the money, the ones pushing the lies and propaganda? We’re going after them,” Musk said, casually pointing his fingers in the shape of a gun.
