  • We wrote our party program with it from start to finish lol. I've given up on trying to talk about security.

  • Scrolling through Google Maps is like a nich hobby of meband I randomly ended up in Ukraine

  • Mariiupol for example. Especially the Azovstal factory.

  • Wild how you can see the destruction in Ukraine on Google Maps

  • Were you also forced to read/watch it on High School? Was mandatory for us.

  • This is what happens when you have no real counter arguments and base everything off Putin bad against a party calling for no more NATO expansion

  • They'd rather govern with right wingers and neolibs than work with us, so...

  • lmaoooo the other socialist party Vooruit just launched an Instagram post calling to vote for them instead of our marxist party because a vote for us IS A VOTE FOR PUTIN!!!!!!

They are getting rightfully flamed for it

  • I'm sure the EU will respect the outcome of this referendum and will not try to start shit in a possibly new part of Russia close to their lands.

  • Echo chamber? Maybe. Toxic? No, not at all. It's actually very freeing to be able to discuss ML stuff more deeply instead of having the umpteenth lib/ultra/trot coming in trying to debate TANKIE MAN SQUARE ONE BILLION DEATH.

This community has been nothing but supporting to me.

  • It's actually from the period shortly after WW2 in which there was a 'boom' in the population because so many people were getting kids post war. Nowadays people use the term incorrectly to just describe old people. But the oldest boomers are now around 78 while people aged 50-60 also get called boomer for showing entitled mayonaise colored behavior.

The term boomer has indeed stopped defining a post war generation and instead now describes entitled, rich and out of touch (white) people.

  • Life under capitalism:

For months I had been experiencing some back pain, which gave me stress. I have a mole near the painful spot and had it checked out by a doctor, but he saw no worrying things. I still had back pain, though. Months passed with daily stressful thoughts about what was going on. I worried it may have been cancer (lol) or that I was supposed to get an expensive treatment for whatever issue I was having.

Last week I figured I should just go to a physio because this couldn't go on any longer. Made an appointment for today. Had some examination. There's just this one muscle in my back that's so tense it could've very well been made out of steel. Had a massage, some stretch exercises and I feel better. I have some follow up appointments made to keep track of the muscle.

The best part? Apparently health insurance should pay for the majority of it. Here I was stressing for months over what turned out to be something minor all because I was afraid of high medical costs and what not.

  • And my axe! Hello there! Big chungus Keanu Reeves!

Fully agree with you. Reddit people are some of the most unfunny people every. Even worse when you meet some of them in real life and they start making the same movie jokes. One of my friends is like that and even though he is a nice guy I just wish he'd shup up lol.

  • To add to my previous comments about the polls:

Besides being the fourth biggest party in Flanders, we are also the third biggest in Wallonia and we even remain THE biggest party in EU and NATO capital Brussels

  • With around 11% of the votes. Nearly 1 in 8 people is willing to vote communist.

  • New polls again have us as the fourth biggest party in Flanders for upcoming elections.

  • Maybe I should start doing that

  • The frustrating thing is that I have some activism things in mind that we can just roll out with some people which I think would put us on the map in a positive, rebellious way but I feel like my ideas get pushed to the side because everyone is so focussed on elections. And then we do some, in my eyes, cliche petitions kind of things.
