Completely agree.

Kinda get the vibe that guy I'm replying to is asking for the times when its actually needed. If I've got the wrong mark there and they're looking for daily driving, then Mullvad VPN (or comparable) is probably the better way to go.

I hear I2P had a lot of potential, but also a lot of issues. Haven't checked up on that project in a bit. I know it was a BITCH to set up when I tried plinking with it some years ago.

So TOR (despite the latency/speed issues and its own security concerns) is still probably about as good as it gets.

The real pain is going to be having those services split up so much.

Proton was really convenient for packaging those in a really convenient way.

Guess there's a business opportunity here?

I was looking at Tutanota for a bit. Guess I'm need to bust open that research again.

So I know there's some drama with lemmy.world and lemmy.ml. I'm passingly familiar with the .ml stuff (that they have a large and vocal population of tankies and red-fash types), but what's the deal with lemmy.world?

I've had the same issue on Android (app version 2.23.2). Haven't tried it in a while, but would appreciate this being handled.

I think this is something enable-able in your phones system settings? Not sure, but I think Android has those settings somewhere.

That said, if this is a thing the Voyager Deva can put it it would be #Beautiful.

And/or remember where we were in the scroll list for all/home (That seems like it'd be hard to implement - even original Apollo had this flaw - so the way DJKJuicy put it is probably the play)

To add to this, just having a search history would be awesome. There's a bunch of times that I've stumbled across neat things, neglect to save them off, and then forget the keyword that got me there.

A nuance I hadn't noticed/explored but that makes sense. Yeah, then you would only have access to proton.me and pm.me for sending (unless you owned a domain.....but then your name is associated with the domain).
