  • Any healthy company board would remove him from Tesla as it is the no brainer way to save the company. The problem is that he placed people who are loyal to him on it. That's how he took control over the company that he didn't found to begin with.

And it seems to be how he's trying to take control of the US government as well.

  • Pro tip: microwaves used in ovens have a wavelength of roughly 12 cm. This means that every 12 cm in the microwave oven there is a "node", a spot where there is no heating happening. This is why most microwave ovens have a turn table so your food moves around in that field of waves so it somewhat gets heated equally. The problem with turntables however is that what is at the center will remain at the same spot. This is why the center of the food remains cold. It sat in our near a node.

So the solution to alleviate the cold spot problem is to put your plate as far off center on the turntable as possible while allowing it to still spin and then shift it of to the opposite side of the turntable halfway through.

  • Canada has the best weapon of all: Time. Things might get rough, but we all know that Trump has been getting old. Even if it takes longer than we hope, our economy will adapt to new markets, because it is what economies do.

Just look at what Ukraine has been surviving through for crying out loud. We have it way easier in comparison.

    Canada will outlive Trump.

  • Costco and Loblaws in my area. Costco is even more annoying because it yells instructions on how to use the machine at you at every step. Every time. The moment you approach the machine it yells at you to scan your membership card. Then it yells at you to scan your items. Then it yells at you to put it in the bag area. Then it yells at you to use the PIN pad. Then it yells at you to thank you for shopping at Costco.

I'm wondering how many people got kicked out of the store already for snapping and yelling back at the machine to STFU.

  • One thing that has been annoying me lately are self checkout machines. They play the same pre-recorded message every time you're done using them. Some pointless message in the lines of "Thank you for using self checkout" or "Thanks for shopping with us". You've heard it a dozen times already from the surrounding machines by the time you complete your transaction and then it yells it at you. I feel terrible for the employee who has to stand there all day and have this stupid 3 second recording be the soundtrack of their day. I only have to listen to it for five minutes every week and I hate it already. This message must be playing in their nightmares at night.
