  • It wouldn’t be weird to land bugs if they had that tasty meat crustaceans do. I’m big for alternative sources of protein like bugs, but the fact is they taste like shit.

  • Smoke detectors work using sensors that require special materials that only work for about 10 years before they begin to seriously loose functionality. You don’t want to replace the battery on a ten year old smoke detector, it should be replaced.

  • You may be laughing but he orders the kids meal and has a full stomach for just a few bucks. Sometimes he eats free!

  • Thank you for being the kind of person I sell my used tech to so I can buy new tech. You are a hero.

  • You should be asking what games don’t work on Linux at this point. I’m not even joking.

  • That’s actually impressive you’ve managed to stay in the past so long.

  • As a Canadian I’ve sent a formal letter to the CBC asking them to do the same. I’d suggest other Canadians join me and send formal letters to CBC on their site if you want something like this here in Canada. Personally, I really like how BBC did this and would love others to follow.

  • I’m so excited for when budget phones start folding. It will be a full circle return of the cheap flip phone and I’m all for it.

  • I think the iPad is right now possibly the best form factor for a tablet before you introduce folding. There’s a reason the iPad Pro hasn’t changed its design for so long, and no one is asking for a redesign, bezels and all. I need to hold my iPad, and the bezel is small enough to never notice as it is on a larger device.

  • If this worm was even nearly as dangerous as people keep pretending, it probably would still be around like other dangerous things like malaria.

  • Oh wow it’s Marjorie Taylor Greene’s sister.

  • I really hope they fix some bugs…

  • I guess she’s a Spanish chess player now. And that’s how brain drain works.

  • Just imagine how a superconducting material would change electrical infrastructure. We’d be able to simplify so many aspects of electrical work to the point it feels like magic.

  • “and finally realized that as difficult as things were for me in Canada, they were far better than what my family faced in Sudan” it took a dust storm for her to realize this?

  • Should it still be called old? It’s not like we ever had that here to start with. I recommend calling it something else.

  • Selling the poison and the antidote I see.

  • The other 30% have yet to understand how to pirate games.

  • There’s an app on iOS called PersonalGPT that proves it’s possible to run some sort of useful language on device. I’d be very interested to see how Apple handles this. I’m guessing it will only be on newer phones with a special chip specifically for an on device language model, probably called the L1 or something as lame. But imagine it in a HomePod…
