  • But can someone explain to me why these free computer programs are the best built, most functional, money saving, quality of life improving programs I’ve ever used? Leaving dark patterns behind has my quality of life so much better.

  • I think we should stop trying to figure out what operating system is superior, and just focus on shitting on Microsoft windows.

  • You often can use web apps (of sorts). Most of those apps mirror the functionality of an already existing mobile web page. Then you just make a little web app container of that mobile site.

  • That’s a cable standard. Imagine being stuck with usb 1.

  • This is my thought every time I see anyone talking about the unity news.

  • PC parts can’t even go few years without losing backwards compatibility (e.g. cpu sockets changing every few years). Last thing I need is for my physical body to incompatible with the newest and best stuff because I got a permanent implant when the tech wasn’t as evolved. This will always be the problem with invasive technology in my opinion.

  • Can someone recommend some good alternative zigbee bulbs? I started using sengled but it seems they stopped making zigbee bulbs so they could work closer with Amazon and their ecosystem…

  • For those who think Canada should suspend visas from India too, most Indians going to Canada on visas are students and people travelling for work. The route to citizenship in Canada is fairly streamlined so most Indian residents are already citizens, which by Indian law requires them to surrender their Indian citizenship. So the vast majority of Canadians getting Indian visas are visiting family in India. Meaning blocking visas from India would have a much different message as it would effect a much different effect.

  • Yah wtf happened. I used Linux back in the day and it sucked. Now I check out Linux and it’s gotten so damn good over the last few years.

  • They don’t need another machine to tell them their flooding.

  • They have official community apps now that they do themselves, and it’s amazing. I’ve switched all my apps over and I’ve had no problems since.

  • CSS grids are a godsend.

  • I mean I can’t imagine living there sober.

  • The mistake was going to Toronto. Pearson airport is so astonishingly poorly managed for such an expensive project. Always avoid Toronto.

  • It’s not your computer, it’s Microsoft’s. That’s the message I get from using windows.

  • Thanks to AirPods not having type C I don’t own them.

  • Exactly. Singular “A” cable. And it’s “the” only cable I keep around or buy anything for. I refuse to use a dumb lighting port so instead I own a lighting to type C adapter. No more multiple cables; Its a cable.
