  • K1C is open sourced as far as I can tell. But I am not sure what you are asking here?

Someone has created a custom firmware for the X1C, but that's pretty much it.

K2 isn't open sourced, but it can still be rooted and you can use Fluidd or mainsail.

So Creality sucks for not open sourcing the k2 firmware, but it's not the same level of shittiness as Bambu Lab

  • Yeah, I should have said that politicians use secularism laws to be racist fucking pieces of shit.

With that said, I still believe that our different level of public services should be secular, and we should start with Christianity symbols first.

  • That was a milquetoast message of hope at best, to the same level of thoughts and prayers.

Endorsing people actually on the ground trying to resist the Nazification of the US would already be a big step up instead of a Obama giving a medal to Obama level meme of self congratulatory pat on the back.

  • Rally people to take concrete action for one. Go with AOC and Sanders on their tour.

Challenge all the bullshit executives orders in front of a judge, or give visibility to any group doing such a thing.

Call out old fucks like Schumer.

Any small effort to mobilise people to do something about what's going on.

His notoriety will give a lot of weight to what he supports or call out.

  • I much prefer using the terminal than the GUI if I can.

But I understand that not everyone likes the terminal.

To be fair, I couldn't tell you how to run my file manager as root from the GUI because I don't use it that much.

  • You don't see how terrible Windows is until you've switched to another OS and need to interact with it again.

The constant pop-ups, the ads everywhere, the settings hidden away.

It really feels like your PC isn't yours.

  • IMO, GPU prices have an impact. Modern gaming has a bad habit of not optimizing games relying on people getting newer GPUs for performance.

Mix that with the pre-order/early access monetization, and we are to a point where games have made their money before release, and beans counters don't want to put money in QA because there is no quantifiable ROI (there is a ROI, but it is hard to quantify), which is a no-no in their world.

Indie games have a tendancy to be less GPU demanding, and thus, usually have a better performance experience
