  • People make arrangements based on their jobs, they move closer to their workplaces, place their children in schools that are near, etc. You can’t just uproot your entire life and move across the country because you feel overworked and underpaid, if it was that easy everyone would’ve done it.

    Oh and the more simple answer, a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck, are tied to their working visas or something similar.
