Yeah, the headline is a little misleading. It's definitely an indictment that he had anything to do with those people, but to say that he graduated from there implies that he's earned some modicum of respect. That doesn't appear to be the case at all.

No, it was a protest that, like many in this country, featured instances of vandalism and violence as a direct result of bad crowd control and escalation by law enforcement. Calling it an insurrection means accepting a precedent for harsher criminalization of future protests of all types and their associated movements, especially the ones that threaten capital. It also means dishonoring the likes of heros who really did go for it, like John Brown.

I think it's hyperbole to call January 6th an insurrection. Regardless, fomenting an angry mob of morons is nothing compared to ethnically cleansing 1.8 million people.

I agree that impeachment is mostly ineffectual, but the first two times were for relatively BS charges. At least this time it's for something serious.

Are you sure that your water supply won't install a PFAS/PFOS removal system in the next few years? If they do then your investment will have been for naught. It took my town's supply about two years to get a system installed and running.
