yeah, other than the obvious "haha-ing in Linux" (which.. I also use Linux) - the REAL answer is people will just keep using the outdated Windows until THAT computer dies it's natural death.
It's actually a decent way of showing "land doesn't vote" when the states have equal representation (like US senate).
For electoral votes, you start with this but then make them larger per total count. Greatly corrects the "USA is 90% red!!!" that you get if you just color the states as-is.
oh, I am also "applying current feelings to a prior time" - I voted for Bush in 2000. I think I voted McCain in 2008 too? Or maybe Palin scared me away, I can't remember. I had also just moved, maybe I missed that election.
I've been looking and they don't seem great yet, unless it's just for 1 or 2 people. Small loads and they take a long long time.
