Fallout 76 has a new springtime event so I've been playing that a lot. Little bit of the Oblivion remaster. Started Cabernet.

Surviving.

I created a new character in The Sims 4 to try out the last couple expansion packs.

Maybe some Split Fiction later.

Fallout 76 for Fasnacht and ESO for Whitestrake's Mayhem.

I finished Tape 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Chill game. Named my cat Pumpkin. I'm interested in seeing where the story takes me in April.

Really like the idea of using the camcorder to record collectibles and make memoirs, though I did have an issue with some scenes I filmed not saving properly. I'd shoot something, then in a future chapter the scene in the edit menu would be replaced with a white square and the footage would be gone. Didn't prevent me from progressing the story or unlocking any achievements, but not being able to watch some of my completed memoirs was disappointing.

No other issues.

I enjoyed my time with Redfall. The gunplay wasn't anything special, but the atmosphere was great. I loved the setting and soundtrack. I thought the art style was cool, and I liked the little bits of lore you could pick up.

The final update brought some big QoL changes to the game. I just look at present day Fallout 76, which launched in an even worse state and wonder what could have became of Redfall if Microsoft hadn't fired everyone.

I'm probably just gonna end up unsubscribing after Wednesday season 2.

There's no other exclusive Netflix shows that I'm interested in.

Xbox had a sale so I picked up "Ravenswatch", an action rougelike game where you play as fallen versions of fairy tale characters. For example Red Riding Hood is a playable character, but this version is a werewolf.

The other day unlocked Carmilla, a dhampir based on Sheridan Le Fanu's novella. I really like her playstyle.

Also been playing Monster Prom.

Mostly miserable. Two people commented on my attire today though. That made me feel good.

Fallout 76.

Got a bad reputation at launch because it was so buggy, the main "quest" was lackluster and the world felt empty due to a lack of NPCs. It was genuinely in a bad state.

They've made loads of improvements and the game is really fun now. After the Wastelanders update, which brought NPCs and a new main quest, it started to shake off some of the negativity but I think many people are still turned off due to the launch stigma

Nah. Lots of great games, but I think there's a bit of recency bias. 2001 or 2004 would be my pick for greatest year(s) for gaming.
