Pretty sure every president does that. Aren't ambassador jobs to allied foreign governments essentially gifts to friends or donors? Of course were talking about cabinet positions but it seems to me cabinets positions usually go to who kissed the most ass instead of who's most qualified. When's the last time secretary of education went to some who has actually taught a class?

Both sides suck at arguing this and all it does is make both sides insufferable. Meat eaters like to point out things like protein deficiency, and high amounts of salts and sugars in meat substitutes. Vegans like to point out the saturated fats, cancer rates, and green house emissions. Problem is you're both right.

The studies authors are calling for “greater nuance” when it comes to discussing the healthiness of plant-based alternatives, as there is considerable disparity between categories in terms of health.

“Grouping all plant-based alternatives into a single category is an unhelpful strategy for encouraging a shift away from meat and towards more plant-rich diets as it hides a wide variety of options with differing nutrition and health profiles within the plant-based alternative category,” the authors wrote.

While the study acknowledged that plant-based meat alternatives can be a “useful stepping stone” for encouraging people to shift their diets, they stressed that the less processed alternatives – notably beans and grains – offer “the greatest number of co-benefits.”

Personally I'm not going to stop eating meat but I'm fine with eating less of it or lab grown after a while (though I'm worried about what the industry would look like on a mass scale). But calling for things like moving all livestock subsidies to meat alternatives and claiming all meat substitutes are inherently healthier is just naive, reactionary, and lack nuance. Discussions between vegans and carnivores go exactly how you expect most internet debates to go.

Only one on that list I'll give credit to is RDC1. Legit funny content and celebrates nerds in black culture. Looking at anything anime or outside the standard black stuff use to get you ripped to shreds when i was a teenager. It's nice seeing black nerds enjoying themselves

You don't get to own more than one residence. Legally. Anyone who does has two years to sell it. Anyone whose company exists to profit off of renting out residential housing has to liquidate all assets and use the funds to reimburse those they stole from.

No just.... no. This would be ripped to shreds in any court on Earth. What we need are regulations to encourage affordable housing, rent control, and higher taxes on multiple home owners and rental corporations.

I wouldn't go as far as banning all youth football. I'd say anything before high school would be a good idea. Then scrap things like full contract practices, hitting drills, etc.

I don't have the study but I remember reading hitting in practice caused the most long term damage. It's not the big hits but the constant little hits that build up year after year after year

Republicans constantly get their faces eaten yet still vote Republican. The largest user's of government services are overwhelming white yet they're the largest voting block of the group who cuts them, Republicans.

There's still going to be large groups of women who've never had an abortion or look at their abortion differently who are still going to vote Republican.

It's not going to be as different as you think.

You and I both know he's not going to get it. I have a kinda sympathy for ppl attracted to kids but refuse to act on it. They clearly know it's not normal and recognize the absolute life destroying damage they can cause if they act on it. That being said there's not many places you can go to seek treatment. Any institutions that advertised treatment would have ppl outside with pitchforks and torches.

Before anyone tries to claim I'm pro pedo you can fuck right off. I just wish it was possible for ppl who are attracted to kids and not out touching them to get some kind of therapy and medication to make them normal (or destroy their sex drive) before something terrible happens.
