  • As I said in another comment I think it's more about people having to create another account.

I also don't know how or if PSN integration is going to impact matchmaking.

  • I'd say most people who regularly vape probably do. A significant amount of them also vape indoors.

I used to and the smell didn't really cling to things and it didn't yellow the walls. I did notice little specs in an almost sneeze like pattern though.

  • I think it depends on the developer. They might lump it in with other realism things like hair physics.

I think what OP is talking about is things being removed. It doesn't have much to do with optimising the game.

  • This is on PC and unlike some other ported PS games I don't think there is an option to play offline I imagine a lot of people are going to be creating PSN accounts I'd say that's a hurdle for some people.

  • It seems silly to me.

It's essentially rehashing the debate of people being more comfortable with violence than sexual content. A game can have someone getting vivisected with a shotgun and no one really cares but having full frontal nudity will end up with a game that has articles written about it.

From what I've heard Stellar Blade didn't have full frontal nudity or anything remotely close to that level but the outfits were toned down. I don't think it's really necessary especially when you can choose which outfit the protagonists wears.

I feel like this has been the norm for a while though with games getting released here in the west with women being less sexualized. I'm kind out of the loop about Stellar Blade so I'm not sure if it was censored globally.

  • I am curious how this is going to effect the number of active players. I know a lot of people who were trying to get me to play this saying it was here to stay and not a trend like a Lethal Company but I feel like this hurdle might be enough to get them to give up.

I definitely have a low level of tolerance for Russian nesting dolls of accounts and launchers.

  • Did they shutdown the servers or something?

  • I found this post by doing a search for “TTW” on mbin and got lucky. YouTube and Reddit have been all but useless as tutorials all assume you have a windows pc for heavy lifting. I got a deck to be my pc.

Neat. By the way check the megathread for Gnarly's reentry page. His old website is down.

  • ThinkPad x200s. I recently did the USB C charging mod and upgraded to WiFi 6E. I've had Libreboot installed for a while now.

I do wish I could have more than 8GB of RAM though.

  • I also can't imagine Nintendo's next console not being a mobile one so I think there's definitely a market for a traditional stationary console.

  • I wonder how they got caught with all the tech that goes back and forth between the US and China.

It seems like the US was aware of their plans based off of the articles wording but I'd be curious to hear how they originally were flagged. I wonder if it was just for buying the DTX 150 Scribe and Break machine from Dynatex and possibly being Chinese citizens.

  • You can install TTW on the Steam Deck. You could probably set it up in Lutris and just alter the selected executable back and forth throughout the installation process.

That said Gnarly Repacks has a TTW repack that streamlines the process.

How did you come across this post by the way? Just curious considering it's three months old.

  • I doubt it. Most people seem to regard Creation Club content as something different than regular mods. You can check out the content that's available here but a majority of it is closer to the paid skins found in online games than what people typically associate with modding and meaningfully altering a game.

I think Bethesda knows this and most people looking to mod Fallout 4 are probably going to continue working with what's available.

  • Yeah it doesn't help that the Steam version would likely try to auto-update and I don't believe there is an easy way to downgrade.

I could be wrong about that latter point. There might be an option in the properties menu similar to how you can opt into betas.
