  • I thought about going with "Royale with chicken" as opposed to "Royale of chicken", but I went with the second because I thought that the Royale is already intended to be a quarter pounder of beef and it might have seemed beef+chicken instead of a quarter pounder of chicken 😁

  • It is indeed an argument as it's intended in logic and math.

An argument, more fully a premise–conclusion argument, is a two-part system composed of premises and conclusion. An argument is valid if and only if its conclusion is a consequence of its premises.

The argument I proposed is indeed valid since it follows from the assumptions (which are that on our Earth there are at least two conflicting religions which talk about hell).

A final curiosity: while OP's assumption is an axiom (we cannot know whether or not the Bible is right (otherwise it wouldn't be an act of faith), but he indeed makes a valid argument from his axiom), the argument I made is based on facts (it is a fact that there are people believing in said conflicting religions, so they exist as a group of believers).

BTW: my comment was supposed to be for fun as a theoretical exercise, and not aimed at debating religions.

  • Your argument relies on the Bible assumed to be right.

I would offer a counter argument which is unconditionally true

Statement: We're all going to some hell.

Proof: there exist at least two conflicting religions with respective hells. Since you cannot be a believer of both simultaneously, you're at least going to one of these two religions's hells. Actually you're going to many more hells...

Either way, you're not going to heaven, since loads of hells are waiting for you (N-1 hells or N hells, depending on whether you believe in some religion and where N is the total number of religions on Earth).

Conclusion: you're going to some hell, dude, so no point in freaking out. Just relax and enjoy your life!
