I'd think being close enough to any amount of lava large enough to plunge your arm into would be putting off a considerable amount of heat. Even if you damage your arm enough to not feel it, the rest of you is gonna be pretty uncomfortable from the radiant heat.

I work as a network tech for a globally spanning ISP specializing in fiber services, handling major maintenances that are service effecting for business and government customers (SLAs are in effect). These maintenances are planned and tracked through various excel sheets - housed either in a shared network drive (so yeah, we may run into issues where multiple people are trying to edit the same doc at once), or excel tables in a SharePoint.

Prior to the merger of companies I recently went through, we had actual database systems to track this stuff that worked just fine. And now we're relying on the same shit a grad student would use to track their doctorate progress. It'll work until it doesn't. Looking forward to the shit-show if it gets me overtime.

I honestly didn't even include a DVD/BluRay drive in my PC build, so can't really use those. And I tunnel all that traffic through Proton VPN, so ISP isn't an issue.

With all the mess going on in this country right now, I don't know that anyone wants to also add on the epic shit-show that would inevitably result from the government trying to mess with religion - even the weird cults.

When it comes to Plex and Roku, I'd like them to work out whatever issue it is that makes it a toss-up whether or not movie subtitles will show up. They work fine on any other device I watch through.

Excellent info. Note I said it was difficult to get, not impossible. I'm including prohibitive costs in that difficulty since, if you can't pay for it, it's as good as not being available anyway.
