  • The two big charts with the countries and "discounted" figures.....all the countries discount tariffs are simply halved with a minimum of 10%. Except a couple of countries are a couple percentage points off from that and instead of it being for some purposeful reason, I'm pretty sure whoever made the chart just failed at dividing by two.

  • It's a massive and likely short term government tax increase for all consumers is what it all is.

Extra hundreds of billions of dollars taken from us by our corrupt government. All while I'm sure trumps inner circle bought Puts in the s&p several months ago so they can make even more boatloads of money.

  • Well if it can't accomplish anything then it's just grandstanding. Damn near everyone in that room is a millionaire. If what they do is all just for show, then maybe it means we should stop thinking they're "trying" for all of us and start thinking they just want to keep the farce going so we don't turn it into a battle of the wealthy against everyone else.

  • Cold weather ultra marathon swimming? That's really specific, not important for military use, (who is having to free swim for 10+ miles?) and I was having problems trying to find any specific records for cold water ultra marathon swimming. I could find ultra marathon records of swimming in general, but most of those were men.

  • What endurance events are women better at?

Also, I was curious about the g-force thing, but any scientific studies I could find had conclusions that there aren't any significant differences between men and women when it comes to withstanding g-forces.

  • How many magnets you think there are that would just be lying under a fridge not stuck to anything, but small enough to fit in a hamsters mouth and powerful enough to hold a hamster in place without even getting to directly contact metal. Let alone that like 99% of hamster cages are plastic.

  • It's not for any of the above. Grid systems will have many batteries and not need excessively fast charge/discharge rates. Evs still can't really use them because they're simply too heavy for the energy density. Longer range evs already need beef8er suspensions and chew through tires from the weight. Going even heavier with even larger batteries isn't very feasible compared to the alternatives.
