I agree. It's supposed to be the title, not an article. 🙂 Posing it as a question does help to pique interest, though. Could do... "Are polluted waterways a major threat?" Boom. Done.
Enough of the suggestions appear to be good; I'm going to say one that I don't think has been mentioned yet - - St. Jude. They help kids with cancer & their families, so they can get treatment without paying anything out of pocket. And I mean ANYTHING.
Families with young kids tend to be on the poor side. Cancer hits them like a ton of bricks; they can't afford this expense. St. Jude pays for transport, puts the family up while they treat the children. So much money is given to the kids & their families.
It's not all altruism & butterflies, though! It's also just...fucking smart & helping to refine modern medicine. Millions of USD goes into R&D, working to treat & cure cancer, in kids. Hopefully creating tech, methods that benefit us ALL. There is no downside to donating to St. Jude.
That's cute & all, but even if certain things happen to be correct, I don't give a flying fuck what the people running Afghanistan have as laws of the land. They're so fucked up. Just had a discussion on here, they've got all these laws, kill the homosexuals, homosexuals are just an abomination. But hey....there's this powerful warlord or prominent man engaging in bacha bazi.....ehhhhh, we'll pretend that's not happening. Maybe even join in. Gross hypocrisy.
Gets one thinking. A Pringles can or other similar cylinder of size would be fucking brilliant for a controlled sling, expelling its contents at a target. Centrifugal force & whatnot. Over the shoulder, snap the can forward & down.
I encourage you to think about dropping Prime. Saving your money. Their shipping really isn't that great (anymore), most orders $35 or more ships free, and the money you save ($14/15 per month) can go towards your purchases.
Now this is just personal taste, but I really don't like the looks of that truck. Cosmetically, I put it on the same level as the Chevy Colorado. Generally speaking, Hyundai isn't known for quality builds like Toyota, not even close.
That said: the new Hyundai Elantra makes the short list of vehicles I'd be interested in, buying new. Scotty Kilmer praises its naturally aspirated, non-turbo engine & traditional build components. Thinks it could last a long time. 👍🏻
It is one of the smallest available in US. Of course I'm referring to Tacoma with a standard cab, not the People Hauler 5000 it's basically a minivan crew cab configuration.
The Tacoma would actually be my pickup of choice. I hate the modern styling, but the Toyota build is just so solid & Ford as of late has been disappointing. To say the least. The green movement is not only based on size, but how durable a product is & if it can last for many, many years of reliable operation. Unfortunately we do not have Hilux, but Tacoma is America's version of Hilux.
I'd have to see how it is better than, worse than trees on a case-by-case basis. But generally speaking, I can think of a few reasons this is better:
Trees are messy. They take a long time to grow, they take constant maintenance while growing, then they eventually die. Tree roots fuck up pipes & concrete. If this installation is equivalent to 1 or more trees, it is doing the work in a fraction of the space.
You have serious real estate & infinite rare fish you can sell for a lot of money, and the government isn't tax-raping your profits to death, you can buy several or more lambos.
