  • I'm not sure why you're worried about the connector since USB-C is mandated. Batteries will likely still be model specific since they'll need to come in different shapes and sizes depending on the model and it's internal hardware layout. I'm sure they'll just use standard connectors on the battery itself since there's little upside to engineering something special when the battery is already going to be specific to the phone.

  • I bet it's because they know Trump has dementia and are trying to get out in front of it to muddy the waters. Same thing Trump did with "fake news" back in 2016 right before pumping out a bunch of fake news. They get it out in the zeitgeist and then claim you're just throwing around baseless accusations.

  • I think instead of focusing on how to sell this product, we focus on the product itself because it's impossible to sell something that Democrats keep pulling off the shelf as "defective." Like any other item that people buy, committing to something only to have the "company" do a 180 and stop supporting it immediately after your "purchase" is just going to drive people away.

Most Democrats only seem interested in pushing progressive policies right up until they get elected and then it's always "not the right time" after the election.

Edit: also the product would sell itself if they actually implemented them and improved people's lives. It's kind of hard to deny things that exist right in front of your face, but we never seem able to get to that point because corporations and genocidal "allies" always take precedence over the American people regardless of which of these two parties hold office.

  • I'm not sure how relevant it is to compare public land in Utah against the smallest state in the nation, Rhode Island. Most of Utah is 'unihabitable' desert just like Nevada and Arizona which is why so much land can be undeveloped, another aspect states like RI don't have to contend with.

  • I don't go to the gym either but know several people who do and the equipment lets you strength train with a lot more weight than your body weight if that's what you're going for. You can use water jugs and stuff at home but that can be janky and potentially dangerous.

Also there's probably something to be said about traveling to a dedicated location for your workout to help you get out of the house, in the right mindset, etc. I'm sure it's similar to how some people love working from home while others prefer to go to the office to help focus better and socialize.

  • I've been seeing this for a couple weeks now along with a popup telling me "ad blockers aren't allowed" at work where I'm forced to use Chrome. I have UBlock Lite installed. Typically a refresh takes care of the popup and a 10 second delay later, the video loads.

  • the deputy claimed she was driving too close to a semi-truck.

Oh I've seen this one in numerous YouTube videos where police make up a reason to pull someone over. In one you can see from the FOIAed dashcam and body cam videos that the stopped driver wasn't even in the same lane as the semi.
