  • “Yeah, we’re working with the Department of Justice to see if we can prosecute them for that. Because what they’re doing is actively encouraging people to avoid law enforcement activities, operations, and we’re going to actually go after them and prosecute with the partnership of Pam [Bondi] if we can, because what they are doing we believe is illegal.”

Trump jumped in, “And they may very well be prosecuted also for having given false reports on the attack in Iran. They were given totally false reports. It was totally obliterated.

What a couple of complete brain dead responses. It's illegal to avoid law enforcement activities? Isn't it also illegal to interfere with law enforcement activities?

And Trump is claiming that CNN was given a false report on the Iran strike and that is also a crime?

I'm not surprised these trash human beings are trying to spin things, but I'm surprised that people can't see these absolutely glaring holes in their bullshit responses.

  • I don't have IG either but I do know TheKitKiln is based out of Thangs.com. This dude used to go by BigBricks and had a ton of incredible Lego megafig designs before Lego and Disney sent him a cease and desist. His work is always top notch and all of his stuff is designed to work without AMS or glue.

  • A guy in Huntington Beach just had his front door literally blown off at 6am and home raided while his wife and young kids were sleeping in the home because he accidently rear ended an unmarked pickup truck that happened to be full of ICE agents a week prior. They accused him of doing it intentionally in order to interfere even though they let him go when it happened and everyone in the family is a US citizen.

  • This seems more like a server with a built-in NAS, but i agree it's probably way overkill for most, though it seems like an awesome product at first glance. It's like they took every component and cranked it up to 11. I wish we saw more of this in the consumer electronics segment and less "let's strip or nerf everything we possibly can before sales tank. Our margins are so great this quarter!"

  • I love Mullvad and used them for years, but without port forwarding, they're not the service you want for torrenting. Some alternatives like AirVPN or ProtonVPN are better suited for that stuff.

Before the haters jump in and tell me "it works fine fer me!" it's only working because the user on the other end, like myself, have port forwarding set up. Since you don't have it, you'll never connect to anyone else like yourself nor will they be able to connect to you.

Of course there are alternatives like streaming and Usenet but there are tradeoffs no matter what you pick.

  • I don't find the sanctions odd as there are probably many obscure ways to leverage our position against countries like this. What i do find odd is that Trump is greenlighting Russia's nuclear expansion and influence while dropping bombs on Iran for their own attempt at nuclear expansion, especially considering what Russia is doing in Ukraine right now.

  • Is that NVME only half length still with a full TB? It almost looks to be the same size as an M.2 wifi adapter. Crazy that they're getting this small.

I recently bought two cheaper 1TB NVME and have some premium ones from several years ago but they're all the full 80mm length. I have yet to come across ones this small personally.

  • There are way too many counterfeit cards mixed in with the legitimate stock out there for me to bother spending too much on any single card. I typically go for the midrange offerings and roll the dice.

  • And they crap out so quickly. I can't even count the number of SD cards I've had to throw in the trash. I don't think I've ever had a 2.5" or 3.5" drive completely crap out on me (though I have had bad SMART data indicative of a dying drive) and I have been running a media server with dozens of TBs for over a decade now.

  • I have the OLED and have been mulling over getting the Switch 2 since games, to my knowledge, don't appear to be developed for the Switch 1 any longer even though they'd probably work fine. It's also weak as hell and regularly crashes when I try to play Minecraft with my kid, but I haven't really bothered to look too hard at how much more performance you get out of the S2.
