Well they all voted for the internet censorship bill (the only nay votes were from two Republicans) so I'm sure it'll be more than just Schumer voting for it right before they all go on TV and talk about how "concerned" they are with the actions of the Republican party.
I dunno anything about these drugs but I remember the diet drug fad in the '90s and the disastrous consequences and side effects that came from it. I'm sure these aren't going to give heart attacks to a bunch of people, but I have a hard time believing there isn't some sort of cost to pay for a magic pill that makes you skinny. I'm willing to admit that my view is tainted by the past and will once again state that I know nothing about these pills specifically so I could be completely off base here.

No you don't. This place is filled with articles and tens of thousands of comments criticizing the shit that Republicans are doing and Democrats are helping them achieve a lot of their goals, so why shouldn't we throw these people under the bus too? Quit treating politics like a team sport and wake up to the fact that they're working together to fuck us all over.

I use it and it works great except their eddie client is kinda garbage (at least on Windows) so I switched to using Wiresock on Windows and then later gluetun after setting up a Linux machine.
I was with you with this thought experiment until the teleportation part and knowing that you weren't drugged. In this situation, you couldn't possibly know that at the time and that really changes things from a bizarre but realistic scenario to one involving aliens or some such.
