As a taller person, I could see myself rocking a little too far and toppling over with my feet trapped in behind the lower bar. It's an interesting design though this version looks really rickety and like it's made out of cheap plywood.

Anyone else read this as "now available on VHS" and instantly get transported back into the '90s?

Screw traffic cameras. Most of that money goes to private companies and it's all too tempting for cities to game them to increase revenue. I say we just park a bunch of empty cop cars around if you want people to slow down. Nothing works better and there's no cost involved outside of the initial purchase of the vehicles. It's cheaper and more effective.

It's all the same components just in different order. You have to scan your boarding pass to get on the plane.

You claim the economy has nothing to do with the standard of living, inflation, or wages yet keep harping on about "how good the economy" was as if that means anything to anyone outside the top 1%. Why?

The problem with this approach to education is that they'll just wind up cutting important but not lucrative majors like arts, English, etc. Your approach is more tailored toward job training programs than general education (which a lot of schooling has turned into). Costs definitely need to come down though.

This is a good thing to throw in the faces of Trumpers next time they claim he didn't get a fair trial when he was convicted of 34 felonies. The man himself admits he doesn't even know what due process is.

Sitting on the porch with my morning coffee and first smoke of the day during the summer was always a wonderful experience. Doing the same in 30F in the winter, not so much.

I said it a couple days ago that this election reminded me of our 2020 election and what followed. Center-right liberals are only good at driving people away since all they do is tell you what you want to hear and then go behind your back and do the exact opposite. It's just diet Republicanism here in the US and sounds like it's very similar abroad. Nobody likes diet Republicanism.

And now they're showing locked episodes, which drives me up the fucking wall. Seems to only be with all the podcasts that SirusXM is buying up as of late, which unfortunately make up a good chunk of what I listen to.

They have a point though. You could make the same argument that office culture is better once computers became ubiquitous during this exact same time period.

For all we know, that's exactly what happened.
