  • like, you can't even be bothered to spend 5 minutes entertaining your pet?

And this is the method of play that requires the least amount of effort since you only need to press a button and flick your wrist around.

That said I might buy something like this just because I like to nerd out on electronics like this.

  • This has been a standard feature for probably close to 20 years now. Your car doesn't automatically lock when you put the car in drive and unlock when you go back to park? I drive a 12 year old econobox and it has this feature.

  • Squarebodys were selling for insane prices during COVID but not so much now. I have been wanting to unload my burden K10 shortbed project truck since I'm over it, it just sits in my garage, and I bought a different truck (which is actually road worthy!) but it's not the right time to sell because I'd be probably losing a couple grand on the deal.

  • Man, fuck that shit. Form follows function, but instead they are doing what Apple and Windows 10/11 have done: make it ✨pretty✨ instead of fucking readable and actually usable.

I'm still pissed that in Windows 10 they removed the border around the title bar so I constantly click on the wrong 'X' when trying to close a window because they all fucking blend together with the windows open behind them. I've been forced to use Windows 11 at work and it fucking sucks with so much padding and wasted space around icons and whatnot.

  • Go to credit unions around you and apply for a loan yourself. You shouldn't ever rely on dealerships to find financing for you. Interest rates are awful right now but with your commute you need something reliable and fuel efficient (like a Camry or Corolla).

  • Curious how they felt they were entitled to seize their electronics and savings. AFAIK "search warrants" are typically isolated to specific people and property, not a free-for-all where they can just take anything they feel like taking. However, I saw it mentioned in a previous post about this that these agents aren't even getting search warrants but a "writ" and that agents are intentionally conflating the two in the media in order to provide a false sense of legitimacy to their illegal and unconstitutional actions.

  • There's not enough things to be outraged about so you have to manufacture new ones? Are you arguing that baby kittens have some instinctual knowledge about how to drink milk from a bowl as if that's something they'd come across naturally?

  • By that logic, you can't steal from the dead because they no longer own the property. Because the act of stealing is taking something that belongs to someone else.

This is incorrect as your property is transferred to someone else upon your death, so it's still theft.

  • The dead are just bags of meat. This is like claiming that tendorizing a steak should be considered "animal abuse." I do think there's traction in the argument that the perpetrator didn't know the individual was dead therefore it could be considered rape, but in our discussion of hypotheticals here, I don't think that's relevant.

  • This says that a rape victim must suffer, and if they aren’t suffering, then it wasn’t rape.

It doesn't say that at all. What it does say is that it shouldn't be considered rape if it was performed on a dead body, which makes sense since this type of stuff is usually considered "abuse of a corpse."
