  • Debatable. Depending on the golf course location and management, there could be an argument for them at least providing some space for biodiversity.

    Tobacco doesn't produce as much of use, but also doesn't come with the same methane emissions, or slurry runoff.

  • I think burden is the wrong word. It implies an overall negative effect on life, like saying that playing a sport is a burden because you have to dedicate time and energy to it. Yes, my daughter does take up a huge part of my life and I've had to give up hobbies in order to make time for her.

    Responsibility and commitment, yes.

    Burden, no.

  • It is known to protect the liver in specific circumstances, i.e. paracetamol overdoses, but there is not the same body of clinical evidence to support the same hypothesis in relation to alcohol. Even in paracetamol overdoses there is a time limit in its efficacy.

    NAC is not a panacea when it comes to drug-induced liver injury.
