  • I'm aware of it, but I haven't played it yet.

  • I had been wanting one of these for years, so I finally picked one up thanks to some Christmas money. I put in an IPS screen, some pads to fix the power button, a new lens, and got some rechargeable AA batteries. I have three games so far, Klonoa: Moonlight Museum, Digital Monster Ver. WonderSwan, and Final Fantasy IV. I've mostly been playing Klonoa, since it's the main reason I wanted a WonderSwan in the first place (also all those Digimon games). I might get myself a Flash Masta next time they're available to play some fan translations and maybe some more absurdly expensive titles.

  • I don't know. There's this post on their forums which talks about why development of version 11 is taking so long, but the post is also four years old. Unfortunately, since it's not open source we can't tell exactly what's going on.

  • Clipper Defiance was a Boeing 707 operated by Pan Am. Its main claim to fame was when on February 7th, 1964 it brought The Beatles to America for the first time.

  • Inner Agent 3 from Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion

What an absolute nightmare. They play like an online cheater. It's just back to back sub and special weapons. There's almost no room for error. I gave up after like thirty tries because the reward just wasn't worth the stress and frustration.

  • It's not super obscure, but I think I'd have to go with Star Tropics. Gameplay wise it's very similar to Zelda, but the setting and story is more like EarthBound. Interestingly the game is a first-party Nintendo game that has never been released in Japan despite being developed there. Another thing is that it's been almost completely ignored by Smash Bros. I think it got a mention in Brawl's chronicle, but that's it. Even Ultimate forgot about it despite having all kinds of deep cuts among the spirits.

  • Have you tried Mystery Dungeon? I think there are four of them on Switch. There's Shiren the Wanderer 5 & 6, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. If you've never tried the Mystery Dungeon format, then I'd recommend playing the demo for the Pokemon one to see if you like it first.

  • My mom was playing Jeopardy on her Alexa and one of the questions was about a state in Mexico. Her boyfriend, who was very drunk, adamantly insists that it's a trick question because "Mexico doesn't have states." It's literally called the United Mexican States. Two of my aunts are from Mexico. It took like two hours to get him off the subject.

  • Cinnamon or Xfce are more similar to Windows' user interface. Between those two, Xfce is more lightweight than Cinnamon. MATE is more for people who liked GNOME 2 and want that interface over what the current GNOME is.

Cinnamon would probably be the most friendly as a new user, but I personally haven't used it in years and I'm not familiar with its current state.

  • Why is everyone (except OP) in this thread so tall?

Anyways, I'm about 5'0". Not being able to reach things gets pretty frustrating.

  • Tablets are better than a smartphone for drawing. They're also cheaper than a pen display and have a smaller learning curve than a pen tablet. They're also a bit more portable and tend to have better battery life than a laptop. I also like using a tablet for reading comics.

  • Knuckles' Chaotix

It's one of the more obscure Sonic titles since it was a 32X exclusive and it's never been rereleased. It doesn't really take advantage of the 32X's capabilities and it's generally regarded as being on the easy side, but I think it's worth checking out.

  • I want Arizona to bring back their piña colada. Apparently they haven't made it since 2011.

  • Are you sure the directory isn't named "dinks"? It might be Dink Smallwood.

  • A lot of them work in IT.

  • Not a JRPG, but you guys need to check out Metal Wolf Chaos. It's a game where the president uses a giant robot to save America from a rebel army led by the vice president. It was originally released as an Xbox exclusive and only in Japan, but there was a remaster for PS4, Xbox One, and PC that was released worldwide. Also, it was developed by FromSoftware.

  • Gunpla gives me great joy, until I look at my bank account.

  • Assuming you mean legally, the best options are Paramount+ (or whichever service it's on outside the US) or on Blu-ray. None of the television series are available in 4K to my knowledge, but the movies are.
