  • It is! I think it's from the same Netflix show where he eats sushi off a naked cowgirls ass

  • Haha holy shit, the Canada Computers statement that photos weren't accessed inappropriately & that the employee in question was disciplined, shortly followed by a picture of the technician outright copying only these files to the USB drive. These people are scum

  • It could be better, but it's not as horrible as the reviews told me it was. Moved from a Z Fold 4 to an 8 pro - I've never ultrasonic, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

The real star of the show is the Level 3 Face Unlock. It works perfectly as long as you're in a lit room

  • Yeah the original commenter is absolutely a Fi subscriber

  • I'm fully aligned here. I'm at the point where I lurk every day, but I remain wishing the niche communities were around. Obviously, I should be contributing myself, but...

  • You're preaching to the choir, lol. I'm just saying the hardware on non-entry Chromebooks is outstanding these days. Everything else is a matter of time & licensing

  • Haha holy shit, this makes so much sense

  • Like any computer, Chromebook hardware sucks if you're buying entry level sub-$500 devices. The reputation for shitty hardware is generally from people who have only used entry level devices

Our standard fleet for our teachers is Acer Spin 513-2WH. They're exceptionally nice

  • Good, glad they're moving quickly on this

  • I have no idea how i'd replace YouTube in my life - sites like Reddit are one thing, but there is no current viable analogue to YouTube. Premium is pretty cheap for what it is - happy I made the decision to subscribe years ago

  • The US - with obvious exceptions, photos of students can be designated by a district as directory information (which many do, hence opt outs being common)

  • It's opt-out in a lot of districts now

  • I lurk but Reddit is completely dead to me. I haven't used it more than once or twice since the API change

  • Amen on free form multi window being a necessity - I can't say I've ever triple tasked, but I absolutely have had floating windows for quick reference (like infographics/calculator/etc)

Force full screen is a must have - the Pixel Folds currently inability to do this makes it a nonstarter for me

DeX is awesome when I need it. I could live without it, but it's really nice to use in a pinch

  • I just picked up Sea of Stars earlier today - i'm about a hour in and enjoying myself so far, no complaints. Otherwise, I picked up Pokemon Go in the past week & i'm really enjoying it. It turns out that a lot of my friends are still playing, and the Pokemon Go Plus+ I use for sleep tracking also gets bonuses in Pokemon Sleep if you use it for Go. Now i'm playing both!

  • Aw, Sunshine is my favorite title, but I can't find myself disagreeing on the "Odyssey makes it feel clunky" note. The only point of note for me is that Sunshine feels much more open world than Odyssey does. Probably the nostalgia speaking...
