  • You don't think a book is worth reading because educators use it as a critical thinking tool?

You always appear to be have taken offense to having asking to be asked to think critically of Shakespeare and cannot see the value of those plays because of this offense.

    Fascinating.

  • 4chan is anonymous. That leaves only the turds that can handle the stink.

Things like Usenet were only semi-anonymous.

I actually think the internet works better with personas that stick to the person. There are issues there but they are solvable.

A forum where anyone can spin up new accounts is closer to anonymous/4chan than Usenet was.

  • Yep. I would jump at the chance to be in a forum that didn't have moderation. The early internet did just fine without moderation.

Learning to ignore the crazy person on the street corner is a life lesson. Having them arrest or otherwise disposed of because, "it's wrong because..." is not workable approach. No one has executed it successfully, even billion dollar companies fail at it.

  • Allowing bad ideas to propagate unchallenged helps no one.

There are studies behind the negative affects on brain health that occur with vegan diet are not something I made up.

Unlike the agenda based studies that vegans trot out, there is hard science backing it up.

  • You missed the part about hours spend in detention.

Punishment is not an accepted means of instruction because it causes this type of trauma response.

They may have learned French but they also learned to hate learning French which is counter- productive to continuing with French education.

  • It may not be monthly but there are companies that will monitor your levels and schedule refills as needed. If you're getting refilled per month you probably need a bigger tank. Most people are using propane for heating and don't need it refilled in the summer.

There are also options to spread the cost over the year so you're making payments each month. That is sort of a subscription but when I think subscription I think of a service you're charged for whether you use it or not and not financing.

  • These articles are speculative on the cause. I don't see any data on the supply increases.

Some of these cities, didn't increase supply. For example San Francisco saw similar decreases it they offer to exploration there.

The rents decreases are year over year but are flat over a two or three period of time, it's just as likely the rent increases were a bubble that popped and not because of some unspecified change in supply.
