  • New executive order: contempt of court can be pardoned.

  • An innocent man with no charges filed against him was illegally deported on the 15th of March. Despite court orders trying to prevent it, or have him returned, nothing was done to stop this or fix this. He has spent 33 days illegally held and no one has faced any consequences for this so far.

"Courts are slow, this is fine."

Tell that to the man being tortured for over a month if he's still alive. I'm sure his family will be relieved when charges are filled against some scapegoat who offended Trump in 2028.

  • That kind of infrastructure takes time to build. Nobody wants to invest in something that will take years to start producing if there's a 50/50 chance that tomorrow Trump rolls over and China starts selling again within a month. It's too risky with how unstable the world market is right now.

  • How's it feel to live in the cyberpunk prequel?

  • Those who study history are doomed to watch as everyone else repeats it.

  • Sadly no. That's the French protesting increasing the retirement age.

Americans witnessing the loss of democracy and due process? "I sleep".

  • Allergic to sunlight, story checks out.

  • Oh no, Trump is polling poorly? Surely if he wants to be elected again he will change course...

  • The FDA has rules for how much rodent shit or insect legs can be in your food.

And these rules are for asthetic reasons, not safety, because the processes used kills any bacteria on them already.

  • No they don't, because I returned it before a shortage occured. They just lost the profit from rent.

That's strange, the goal post was right here just a minute ago...

Whatever time period you had taken the rental car for was a time period that they could not have rented it to someone else. You can't know until after the fact if there would have been a shortage in that time frame. There's also the extra wear you have put on the car.

If you took a rental car for 5 minutes and returned it I doubt anyone would charge you with anything.

  • Have you tried sprinkling cinnamon on your ass?

  • If someone's part of the "public" then its provided to them for 0$, thats the deal. If they are an adult in that area they might pay for it in taxes, but most places won't limit access to local taxpayers. There is nothing underhanded happening there. Its provided for a group of people and those people use it within the guidelines setup for them.

Of course it is. I don't know who you think you're disagreeing with here.

Im sure you will have as little to say in your next reply but do try to actually make a point.

Interesting considering you had a lot to say without making any point at all. What exactly is the point you're trying to make here?

  • Again, you need to actually read things before replying to comments. No one has said they were deceived. Where do you think you are right now?

  • So you don't define theft as "someone taking something they didnt pay for or earn" then. Glad we agree.

  • Do people not literally have the crew on disk? There you go, they own it.

Well let me go back to 2005 and tell young me that I only own a license to WoW so I can say “no shit idiot” and slap my future self. If you were deceived that’s on you.

Which is it? Pick a lane.

  • That means that even if all the tariffs were rescinded, Trump croaked and somehow JD Vance took a 'be at least somewhat more competent and less stupid' pill, and never reinstated them...

It's too late for that. The US has shown that any appearance of stability can be upended at the whim of whatever singular person is president at the time, and there are no systems in place to prevent that. The idea of "checks and balances" has been shown to be a lie.

Trump signed a trade agreement with Canada and Mexico last time he was president and immediately violated them at the start of this term. He's been constantly back and forth on tariffs with no warning. The word of the US has become completely worthless.

It doesn't matter if all Republicans suddenly realize "this is bad", remove Trump, and put someone stable in his place. The world had been shown that regardless of how stable the current president is, in 4 years the citizens could vote for a complete idiot (and I remind you Trump did win the popular vote. The citizens voted for this) and the market is in turmoil again.

Other countries aren't unstable idiots of course and aren't going to tear up existing agreements (because they value stability) but they sure as fuck won't be renewing any contracts (at least not without far less favorable terms for the US and escape hatches incase another idiot is put in charge) and will be making contracts with other nations instead.

Trump has killed the US and a financial superpower, the US just doesn't know it yet. It won't be felt until existing contracts expire and new ones are signed.

  • Depends if you see theft as someone taking something they didnt pay for or earn

Ah, so children playing in the park is theft. (They didn't pay for or earn it). Drinking from a creek is theft. Breathing air is theft. I quoted your post, I guess that is theft as well.

does not mean you are entitled to it.

I am not claiming they are entitled to it, I'm just saying it's not theft.
