  • Again, it literally does not say that Nazis cannot exist because of those things, you're reading that into the text. That's a you problem. It very literally says less than 3% of the country voted for Nazis which is what you're claiming it doesn't say? It flat out admits there may be Nazis, but they do not have any power.

  • Yeah, except that’s not what the article says at all, which gives away the fact that you’re going in with a narrative that you refuse to be questioned on.

The article says that Nazis could very well exist, but they don’t have any significant power. Which you’d think invading an entire country to get at a handful of alleged Nazis might be a bit overkill, since there’s zero evidence that the entire country is just overrun with Nazis.

Again, they’re using the same argument Israel is: everyone in this territory is (insert code word for evil here) and we must be allowed to kill them. But you think it’s ok when Russia does that.

  • Don’t let the tankies see this. It would ruin their ability to justify Russia’s invasion and they’d have to reckon with the fact that they can correctly identify Israel saying “everyone in Palestine is a Hamas” as bullshit but for some reason Russia saying “everyone in Ukraine is a Nazi” weirdly doesn’t register. It’s almost like genocide is fine as long as your team is doing it.

  • Hasn’t Elon been complaining about anti-natalists being the worst people alive? Seems awfully convenient that all of the sudden there’d be something for that dipshit to point at as “proof” anti-natalists are evil.

  • Since no one on here will ever know me…

It’s accepting that I have autism and that having autism is ok. My mom used “autistic” as an insult against me, the first time I remember was from age 5 as an attempt to control behavior she saw as undesirable. Running circles outside until I wore the grass out and flapping my hands about was something I needed to feel ashamed about according to her. And so I hid that and everything else she criticized so hard that I couldn’t accept that the reason I struggled so hard with a lot of things in my life wasn’t because I was just some innate failure but because I had an unaddressed condition that was she not only refused to help with but actively made worse.

To this day I still cannot do things like make eye contact, or tolerate being touched. But I’ve learned to not only accept myself for who I am, but accept that little boy who never understood why his own mother never seemed to be able to love him.

  • It’s funny how many people that claim to believe that vaccines cause autism out themselves as not truly believing that.

The vast majority of people who parrot the vaccines cause autism bullshit also believe that autistic people should be punished for being autistic, even up to, in RFK Jrs own words: sent to labor camps. It’s not at all logically consistent to believe that autism is caused by an external factor outside of their control but also they need to be brutalized for daring to be autistic. It is, as always, a grift to get money from idiots.

There’s definitely some moms of autism horseshit in there where “I can’t possibly be responsible for my child being autistic, it MUST be something else” is a major driving factor too. Anything to shift the blame away from yourself for failing to take care of your child properly.

  • The other problem is that the $55 American made one will mysteriously become $94 because doing anything else would be leaving money on the table and therefore unconscionable to American business owners.

Tariffs have a nasty habit of making local goods increase in price accordingly too.

  • The problem is that not a single one of those voters will reflect on what led to them being tricked by this man and not only learn absolutely nothing, but continue to claim he’s better than anything evil other party could put up.

  • Excellent to see the media is still allowing this guy to say that we had a bad trade deal while ignoring that the bad trade deal he’s talking about is the one he created and signed during his first term.

  • Incredible that Trump remains so mad that Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize that he’s willing to literally just order an ally to give up so he can claim he made the peace and demand his prize. He really was just entirely broken by a black man being president.

  • Rich people figured out that if you buy a news outlet and just have them repeat a lie over and over and over and over it just becomes a fact that everyone knows.

From there you have your politicians run on fixing the problem you lied about existing and now everyone is convinced that not only is the problem real, but only the right wingers can fix it.

Bonus: when your chosen politicians win, you can have your media outlet lie about the problem being fixed to give people a warm fuzzy to reinforce voting this way.

  • At least pretending like they care would be a good start. They unanimously approved a few Trump appointees on the promise that the republicans might reconsider one or two and whoops the dems once again got the football pulled out from in front of them. They literally cannot learn the lesson that bargaining with the republicans gets them nothing in return ever because they are the only ones who will hold up their end of the deal…

At a bare minimum they can stop doing that.

  • I remember when big phones used to be called “phablets” and that was considered a bad thing that only certain power user types would want…

And then the same marketing that hit cars came to phones when companies realized that “bigger than the last model” was an easy way to have a number that they could point to that got bigger to imply this one was somehow better. That and human brains are wired to like bright colors so store displays of PHONE WITH BIG BRIGHT COLOR SCREEN made people want it despite it being objectively less easy to use than a more reasonably sized device.
