Airbnb provides a service that I like. It's gone downhill for sure but it is convenient.
The solution isn't to nuke Airbnb and put Chesko up against the wall. It's to regulate the fuck out of Airbnb like they do in New York. In my city (not NY) the taxes on Airbnb profits are 50%, you need a permit, and you have heavy restrictions on the duration of the stay. This is the way.
I have it on very good authority from some very confident people that all ai art is garbage and easy to identify. So this is an excellent dataset to validate my priors.
Look at her. She's clearly not a soldier. She's small and slight. Female soldiers are going to have a lot more muscle. She's also a tattoo artist from fucking Germany she is going to have a different accent, language, reaction, and understanding of the situation. The soldier will know why and how to wait for rescue. This woman is probably completely disoriented and has no idea what her options are.
That means that instead of giving that homeless person medical treatment they should just shoot him.
The wording, "light em up boys", refers to how cops might talk to each other and how the cops won't give the dude help they're definitely going to kill him. The entire joke implies I don't think he deserves help and instead he deserves to get gunned down in the street.
Actually, in all honesty, I told my friends and they thought it was hilarious. I told my coworkers (we are all in our 30s) and they thought it was hilarious. It's not a horrific hateful thing, it's a joke and it's funny.
Thanks! Yeah there are some other websites where people share their reddit troll victims and funny comment threads where people are losing their minds. It's a fun little game to see how many people you can get.
This entire weird conversation aside, Palestine/Israel conflict does not currently affect the West. It could hypothetically escalate until it affected the West I suppose.
Also, Israel is not in NATO. They are a "NATO partner" but are not legally tied to the security alliance.
A homeless guy had taken a hostage in my city. One commenter said "I hope this poor man gets the help he deserves". That comment was at -17. So I comment "Light em up boys" and I get like +30 because it's pretty funny. And that is a "call to violence" so I got perma'd.
I got perma banned because I've gotten 4 or 5 accounts banned over the years for being toxic and harassing people. I made a joking "call to violence" and they hit me with a perma.
Meh. I deserved it for sure. If they let me back on the platform I'd do it again 😈
There is a History of the Byzantines podcast and it talks about the political maneuvering in the empire and church. They had political parties and each party had separate religious beliefs and that was important for how church doctrine evolved.
It's so incredibly political it's unbelievable. It's like "I want to be emperor so I will agree to whatever those guys say so I can gain their political support". And now hundreds of millions of people think that's the word of God when really it's the back alley dealings of Justinian.
But he doesn't believe it. He thinks he's a winner. And I love this court case because it's hurting him where it hurts the most.
