Steam likes to keep it interesting in the UI department

  • Steam has been a mess for years. Of all the applications I’ve ever used on a pc, steam has broken the most/had the most annoying user experience, hands down.

  • As you mentioned, I don’t think it gets much better than khan academy. It’s an incredible source of education and you can refresh on stuff like algebra there.

    Alternatively you could watch free lectures from schools online. MIT has open lecture videos for any subject https://ocw.mit.edu/search/

  • A lot of people would just upvote the first bozo to reply with a confident answer and never bother to check for the full story. Scrolling 3 comments down you’d find someone who actually knows their stuff. I learned to at least read most of the comments before committing any Reddit info to memory as fact.

  • Yes all the bad Reddit jokes and unoriginal lame attempts at garnering upvotes eg making a stupid joke out of a typo (generally unfunny, rare exceptions), I also choose this guy’s wife, take my upvote you bastard, anything along the lines of wow I hate you for making a pun, I’m not crying you are, I feel personally attacked and god knows the list goes on and on

    Hopefully these things aren’t just replaced but one can hope
