I think a scenario works best: John the vampire cop is planning to enter your house tonight. You haven’t given him permission, but he has a warrant. He is dead set on entering. By morning, John has not entered your house no matter how much he tried.

I don’t think I made it up. Before watching this video I noticed the air quality was worse just based off observation alone. Some gyms have poor ventilation and with all those people breathing out CO2 over the course of a day it’s not so crazy to think it’s compounding.

I can say for certain it’s a thing in small unventilated apartment gyms which I have used before. They looked and felt a lot like this guys biochamber by evening.

Gyms must be so bad in terms of CO2 levels. Sometimes I go in at a late hour and it feels hard to breathe compared to normal.

I was thinking about it; Lemmy could technically implement a system of gold on its own e.g can give one award a month after hitting a certain karma level or something to siphon more Reddit users.

But a lot of people on this site seem to not want normie Reddit users flocking here and my personal expectation is that people here would not care for awards. So whether they flock here or not will likely depend on how fed up they get.

I think you hit the nail on the head, but personally, I stopped upvoting “to help the community” a while ago. Lemmy seems to be doing fine now so I’m not against downvoting at all either.

The people upvoting those crappy 15 year old memes aren’t against downvoting either, because when I mentioned how terrible the memes were I got downvoted.
