  • That's Valerie Montgomery Rice, a supposed doctor, who helps other doctors violate their Hippocratic Oath. "Do no harm" doesn't seem to mean the same to her as it does to others.

  • Assad was a difficult time too. The difference is stability. Syria has been fucked since 2011. At least now they can rebuild without an obvious dictator - the future will be finding someone who isn't a dictator to take up power.

Israel, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc all want to control Syria so some coalition of foreign tyrants will rule for a bit, but this is ultimately a better future than under Assad.

  • Procreation only makes children - society needs culture and order to continue through the generations. Having people who have no idea about their history or traditions is useless, they might as well be cattle.

Outside influences like rival countries or self financed teams paid for by billionaires to influence society is the problem. Forcing others to be parents won't solve the problem. We need people who want to raise children so abuse and broken people aren't a constant output. To make people want children, they need a future in which they feel they can raise a person. The current anti-worker, anti-business geo-economic plan for the next 4 years doesn't give the kind of future folks want to have children.

  • I want to live in a world where profoundly evil people receive karma instead of golden parachutes. The third option here is that CEOs be paid less and be held accountable by their employees similarly to a democracy. But that means changing the system - which won't happen until the CEOs are convinced the system doesn't work. Right now, we regular folks are the only ones for whom the system doesn't work. This uncertain future for CEOs is load sharing.

  • Yes, we can't afford to lose any CEOs because it might cause innocent people to be killed. Meanwhile those CEOs are stacking bodies through negligence and folks like you want to defend them. You just confirmed how you'd steer the trolley.
