  • I think it's better since it allows more granular control. For instance, if you have the Wikipedia app you can block

    intake-analytics.wikimedia.org

and still use the site normally. You have to decide if that's right for you.

Battery usage is 4.2% on my device.

  • Their privacy policy says this

    5.2. Do Not Track

Zen Browser automatically honors "Do Not Track" requests by default. We ensure that no tracking of your activity occurs, in compliance with this setting

DNT is voluntary, no one respects it, it makes you stand out, and is a known tracking vector.

    Unsurprisingly 'getfucked@google(.)com' was already taken.

Firefox with uBO worked fine, that signup element is blocked, and you aren't prevented from reading the page.

  • That's what I use an old phone for. In the kitchen it's a timer, notepad, and music player. I read the news on it while having coffee.

I could do that all on my main phone of course but if I'm cooking or having coffee my main phone is both off and elsewhere. I don't like to be disturbed.

Oh, and I use it to test apps before they go on my main phone.

  • The best part is that some people said the vouchers had been canceled.

On Wednesday, some of the people who posted about the gift card said that when they went to redeem the offer, they got an error message saying the voucher had been canceled. When TechCrunch checked the voucher, the Uber Eats page provided an error message that said the gift card “has been canceled by the issuing party and is no longer valid.”
