  • This stood out, though I know it is in quotes

so I feel a sense of “loyalty”.

Do not let that factor in. I have been fired twice, once because of new manager syndrome, once because of 'we're moving in a different direction .

The company feels no loyalty to you, do not feel loyalty to them.

My work is niche and both times I was fired I was rehired after they realized they fucked up. It cost them big time to rehire me, and while I did the work I was less invested in it. After work emails or phone calls were ignored and dealt with the next day.

  • When was the last time one was defederated? I remember a bunch early on, and I think I remember an admin post about it being mostly instances that were either CSAM, or spam.

I'm pretty sure a bunch of those are dead anyway. I clicked on 5 random instances from the block list, 1 had an invalid cert, 3 were were not resolved, 1 had a single user and hadn't posted in over a year.

That does not address your concerns going forward though.

  • Actually a pretty decent review.

    There is this though

When evaluating browsers, I weighted privacy and security HEAVILY.

    (Bolding is theirs, not mine)

Then the review page contains googletagmanager, Facebook, and mediavine. Which are all ad/tracking services.

I don't agree with what they said, but everyone has opinions.

I know this is about desktop, but do not use ungoogled chromium for Android, it hasn't been updated in years.

  • The olives you press for oil are green though. They have a higher fat content.

And no, they are not all as green as the photo. Even without filtration, just allowing settling , the oil is much more clear. It's still green though with the taste of olive oil, and a lot of grassy flavors.

  • Besides what others have said. Have you changed your oil? Cold oil is slow oil and makes starting harder.

A cold weather oil will move more freely and do a better job of lubricating the engine during the hardest part of the run cycle, the start.

  • When Kissinger went to Hell I shared a bottle of Samsong Whiskey (Rum) with a friend I worked in Asia with. It was nice to have something local. We celebrated his first anniversary in a similar manner.

It is what it means to you that's important though.
